Very mixed experience - didn't understand her AP Micro class at all, but her AP Macro class was totally clear (possibly because she likes Macro more?). The class definitely did seem a bit slow at times (atmosphere, content, random readings), so maybe that contributed to the confusion, though she really does try to help explain. She is actually nice though I can see why some people complain she has an attitude. Use the textbook, no matter what you do. It will explain EVERYTHING.
I took her AP Micro class 2nd term senior year and loved her. I came in smacked every day, didn't take notes and just listened and looked at her powerpoint slides. She explains every concept really clearly. I never had to open the textbook or do homework because she never checked and she explained the topics well enough in class. I always scored high 90's on all her tests without studying. Plus she's also just really chill and cool.
I want to sleep in this lady's class every day. She pays attention to what students do a lot: you have to be on your best behavior. She's really strict about posture, skipping her tests and bathroom breaks. Always has review session before tests.
a very intelligent woman. she knows her econ and makes you learn it too for her tests, although they werent too easy. does play favorites a bit, so try to participate at least once in a while
Really awesome and helpful, seriously. Also funny, smart, really knowledgeable and understanding. She actually seems to like the students and care about their opinions, which beats many teachers at Stuy...
Instead of teaching she chooses to do nothing but push ultra-liberal propaganda on her students.
A little awkward, not in her element (she doesn't teach Econ even though that's where she got her degree). If she likes you, you will do well.
she was really nice, but dude, whats with the leg on the table?
