He did not made make math fun. I dreaded the class I had an A in the first semester then it had dropped to a B in the second semester, even though I always did the homework.
Loves to assign lots of homework. In class he discusses assorted random topics more then the material itself. When asked to go over a problem he never has tomorrow or we'll go over it tomorrow which never happens. He schedules mandatory after school tests. Also strictly enforces the taking of the ap test even though it is optional.
Not impressed to say the least. Makes minimal effort to teach, absent frequently. He assigns way too much homework per night, I wish he would pick 20 good quality problems versus tons of similar time consuming problems. His class room is covered in bats which makes it hard to focus. He refuses to use home access center and ALL grading info is on his computer which is at his house!
He is awful. Relys solely on the book to teach his students, and does not respect vacations- he loads up with pointless busywork
The content of the class is tough, yes, but Mr. Bohn did an excellent job explaining the concepts and, if you didn't understand something, he would make a point of helping you personally either during
He may have improved his teaching style since I was there almost 10 years ago, but I found him to be extremely difficult to understand. I found that in most of his classes (I had three), he could dem
This man is an extremely insecure and strange person. Teaches in a nonsensical, undecipherable manner, making learning everything from the book your finest option. Plus, he is just not a cool guy, At
It would be nice if he taught us the material, afterall he is a teacher...
He's available to help students during the day more than any other teacher is, so if you don't take advantage, your loss! Super helpful, and an amazing teacher. His student's AP scores don't lie!
Great teacher, very clear and kind of interesting personality. When asked for help, he will do anything to help you. A little hard, but if you pay attention you will do well.
He stays rigidly to his schedule regardless of the class's needs. Grades ridiculously so although I could do everything I did badly on tests. When he actually teaches you can learn but that's rare.
I love Mr. Bohn, he is a great teacher and I personally wouldn't want to be sitting in a boring class talking about math and nothing else. He is fun and passionate...it's a shame he's a Yankees fan
Arrogant and LOVES to talk about his racing performance, rather than math.
He expects you to do the work and make an effort, and he he is more than willing to help with concepts you don't understands. Tests are hard, be prepared for *everything*. Only reason I passed stats
I thoguth this class was very hard and difficult to understand, not beacause of mr. bohn but just stat in general. Mr. Bohn is more that wililng to help if you need it
if you're willing to work hard and get help, he's a good teacher and explains things well. his class is hard, but worth it.
I started out disliking Mr. Bohn's style, but in the second semester I understand a lot more and now hes one of my favorite teachers.
He teaches a class for smart people, he doesnt' waste time and keeps moving. good communicatino, great teacher.
If you can learn from a math book, take his class. If you actually need something explained, forget it.
