Great teacher. Hard, but respects you if you give him a reason to. Just behave
I don't know why so many people like him. He is not a good teacher; he is demeaning and rude to anyone who asks a question, yet yells when the class has nothing to ask. All I learned in this class were a few expressions too crude for me to ever actually use.
Senor Collins was my favorite teacher at all. He was easygoing and fun, but most importantly he taught me a lot of useful Spanish (emphasis on useful).
Mr. Collins is an amazing teacher. Just do the work, and act mature. Also, if you're confused, don't be afraid to ask questions. Definitely one of the best teachers i've ever had, Best language teacher ever,
Cool guy, even though I was scared of him for the whole year. He's a little disorganized, but you learn to love that about him! Word to the wise; do the work in Abriendo Paso and pay attention on Firdays for Ataque La Palabras, it really helps you with vocabulary!
definatly a solid teacher. nothing to hate about him at all! very good at what he does!
This guy is briliiant. Just act slightly maturely and it's cool - he treats kids like adults too
Mr Collins is da man! hes a really nice teacher especially if your in standard since all you do is minimal textbooks and talk. He even bumped my 89.4 to an A-. He needs to care more about his standard kids though
I skipped in his class alot and he didnt even notice that I was in his 4th period instead of 6th period.I didnt like my math class so I just went there. So I guess you could say he was a pretty good guy even though i FAILED MATH THAT YEAR
I never can make up my mind whether I loved him or hated him. He is really hard and can be horribly mean at times, but on the other hand he's hilarious and teaches in a different way than any other language teacher. He teaches you how the language is really used in everyday life, not what the textbook says. But if you plan to take 5 honors, you'd better be prepared to work your but off. The rumors are true, the class is next to impossible.
such a great guy. the rumors are true: he's not easy. but he's passionate about language and he knows his stuff. he loves it when students use the language. speak up when he asks: volunteer answers, tell him what you did last weekend. don't worry about being gramatically perfect. while he may embarrass you for misusing a verb tense, you're there to learn and he knows that. he's there to teach you. listen and you'll learn a lot.
he is one of the best spanish teachers. he knows the language and is funny. yes, is true, it isnt easy, but its worth it.
I like mr. collins, but he cant handle my class very well. The kids in my class are unruly, and everyday they get yelled at by him, which is such a waste of time. I'd think he'd be great in a class that wasn't like ours, as when he teaches he's great.
He may be hard, but he's the coolest teacher at Hall and he actually knows what he's talking about
Amazing teacher, very helpful and very smart. One of my favorite classes of the day.
Collins is the most irrational person i know....and he doesn't know how to teach an easy class like French 1...but if u listen u will learn sooo much
he needs to learn that spanish doesnt come easy for everyone, but hes the coolest, funniest, nice teacher ever. yes, hes the man...
He's cool, but Spanish VH is the hardest class ever!
collins: best teacher ive ever had. hes the man esé.
umm...can you say spanish 5 honors? that man can be the devil or a saint
Mr. Collins is the man...thanks for all the help through school
