He is a likeable person for the most part. Sometimes it appears that his heart isn't entirely into teaching. He frequently comes to class late, expects his powerpoint presentations to teach themselves, and consistently snaps at students. Mr. Kahler has days were he is engaged and very instructive, but his inconsistentcy makes him a slightly above-average history teacher. If you read the textbook carefully you will get a good grade, but do not expect to get much out of Kahler's class lectures.

He knows his stuff but he favors some students a lot...more or less like the rest of the class doesn't really exist.

He's a tough teacher but as long as you pay attention and read the book and give some effort the class isn't half bad.

You can tell how passionate he is about his job. He loves it and it really shows. But he is EXTREMELY specific on the tests. Read the text book!!

I sure liked him. He is eccentric and tends to pick on people(good natured). People saying that his questions are too specific didn't take AP Econ... it's not

He may be filled with a riteous vigor when it comes to S.S., but he WILL bore you with endless notes. His test questions are about insignificant details.
