BEST HUM EVER. Richardon's my hero! Learned soooooo much, the sentence rules actually coincided with my own rules, very opinionated. Moved at a really fast pace. Great class discussions. Pretty hard grader, though (except on quizzes). Really approachable and helpful.

An excellent teacher, yet even writing ABOUT him gives me the shivers: he's the only teacher who has scribbled 87 question marks in the margin of ONE PAGE of a thesis paper. Serious about what he does and serious about himself, his rigorous slant towards English and writing will make you reconsider every word you write. Extra credit more than helps balance out 50%'s on timed writings, etc. He attacks your self-respect, not your GPA!

Had him for Lit. A wonderful teacher, but his reserve can be intimidating, and he's quite opinionated--take his statements with a grain of salt. Grades harshly but fairly; won't accept B.S. Enjoy his class or not, you'll be a better writer and thinker for it. Best English teacher I've ever had.

Excellent teacher, he just needs to learn to have more fun at school, like mr MsCarthy. Hes great at working what we are doing in history into what we are doing in english. We have to read a lot for him but you'll probably learn more about the book from the class discussions than actually reading it(but don't think that means you dont have to read it or you'll be screwed if theres a test before the discussion)
