Dr. Weiselberg is a great teacher, if you get to know him. He has a unique teaching style which some students dislike, but is not a problem if you are able to retain information quickly and willing to go back and study if necessary. He's a great guy, and I learned a lot from both AP Psychology and AP Euro

Amazing teacher. Really connects with students and is always available for help. Although he could come off as a bit nerdy he is really awesome. So far one of my favorite teachers in the highschool as he teaches beyond the textbook.

Despite his quirkiness, he throws himself into his work and is readily available to help a student. I receive high 90's in his class and enjoy it very much. I am in his Global II class, which he teaches like a minor AP Euro class. I have even decided to take AP Psychology to have him as a teacher once more. He is not for everyone, but once you become friendly with him, he will help you with any question you may have. Plus we watch a lot of movies.

Dr. W is the best teacher in Irvington High School. He is incredibly knowledgable in history and philosophy, and loves to share his experiences with the class. Weiselberg makes Irvington High School a better place.

he is not for everyone, but i learned more from him than any other teacher at IHS. he really takes you to a higher level if you want to go there. the obvious comparison is w mr. barry, but that is like apples and oranges. you need to learn different things from both of them - both embody excellence in teaching. The class is by no means easy and he explains things very well, if you can catch it all. He throws so much information at you so fast its incredibly difficult to absorb and then apply the information. If you listen to him talk about a topic for an essay the things he says are incredibly intelligent and sound like great ideas and perfect for the topic but it all goes just so fast the information goes in one ear and out the other so all I'm left with is "wow that was cool but wait what did he say I forgot?"

Dr. W is my favorite human being in teh world. He is so riddiculously intelligent i can't even stand it. He is excited about course content and is always lookign for innovative ways to teach. However, he teaches liek a real AP, college teacher. For some kids this is misconstrewed as bad teaching because it's hard, but he is really doing the students a favor. I have never enjoyed a class so much in my life, even when i get bad grades! i LOVE this man.

i feel like even though it is an ap class and it should to some extent be taught like one, that we can't be expected to be treated like college students. the extra credit is pretty much a joke and i think he needs to expand his teaching strategies. TOO MUCH POWER POINT!!!! everyday!!! it gets very boring and ineffective. but he's really funny and nice!

Great teacher. Ladies and gentlemen of that's how AP teaching is. The professor will give you the essentials and you've gotta read about everything else. He taught the class like an AP class is supposed to be taught. Don't be upset cuz u couldn't keep up
