if you don't know something, he'll blame your past experience instead of TEACHING YOU. puts work up on board and expects you to memorize and teach yourself the material. Also puts random ish on tests from previous years expecting you to remember something you did without even reviewing it for the slightest time. You also gotta do homework of you wont survive. GOOD LUCK POOR FUTURE GENERATION WITH THIS MAN.
Make sure you do the homework. You will fall way behind if you don't. Great teacher, but pay attention and take lots of notes.
He is a great PreCalculus teacher, he tries to explain everything to the best of his ability and his tests/quizzes are very straightforward. He rarely checks homework, but you should do it if you struggle in math. Overall good teacher.
*Review of his math
Quite literally one of the laziest, unhelpful teachers ever. He does not understand how to teach; he writes on the board and expects memorization. He answers questions with sarcasm, or with the phrase "Sh
i hated this teacher for precalc honors, i felt that barretta was a really arrogant man who played favorites among his students. his teaching was really broken apart and random, and his tests did not test 'mastery' as he call
i dont like his teaching; his notes are like scrap paper on his smart board. he gets boring to listen to and is somewhat unclear when he teaches but then he gives killer tests. i dont like him
hes a pretty cool guy and a good math teacher. he almost never checks the homeworks but definitely do them. the class gets really hard if you slack off and miss a few assignments.
Barretta picks his favorites based on who does the best on tests. Good luck to students who do mediocre in his class--he will treat you as though you are unintelligent and don't belong in the class.
Very good teacher....can have a lot of work but he makes sure you learn the material well!!! Also very fair and a great guy inside and outside class!
Mr. Barretta was one of the best teachers I've ever had-I learned alot from this class plus he was pretty cool
Mr. Barretta is one of the best teachers I've ever had.
i had him for H precalc. cool guy and moderately easy class. not very organized in teaching, and he sometimes puts stuff on tests that he didn't go over in class. oh, and he never checks hw, so if ur smart, then ur good
he is incapable of teaching and is an embarressment to amity.
he teaches honors precalc... definitely better than redmond if you ask me
hes the man, although if you slack off he won't be afraid to say something about it to your face. really interesting and has great music tastes.
Barretta is a good teacher. However he is not very reasonable and is very by the books.
When it comes to teaching, he's a hard-liner. He is a great teacher, and in class, he means business. Outside class-awesome guy. Funny, fun to hang out with and overall very cool.
his 1st name is Frank? =D he's ok...not my favorate but ok
this guy is great... class moves at the perfect pace (not too fast or too slow) he is so cool, he plays x-box, and he relates to his students. u da man, coach B
Never had him but I can tell you...BEST TEACHER EVER!!
P.S. Please curve the VB test by 10 points
started the year really cool, then got really mean-never nice to the class, not understanding of questions and unreasonable
Awesome computer science teacher, introduced me to a great field
Awesome teacher. Loves computer games! Funny, and can relate with kids.
