Funny and very very helpful
Yeah, she completely expects a student to be independent and learn on our own, but we're in high school, I see why she doesn't want to baby us. Her work is hard, but not impossible, and if people actually LISTEN to her, they'll understand what's going on in class. If people gave her a chance, she's actually a really nice person with great stories to tell. If she likes you, she doesn't fail to let you know, but if she doesn't, the same story goes. Basically, be respectful and follow the rules.
She's a very funny person and she's very worldly and knowledgeable. But her classes are somewhat difficult and she's very insensitive to students and their trifles. Her tests are impossible.
Ms. Stapleton is very hard if you are in the honors or AP level. She is extremely unclear and will assign research projects that don't even have a rubric. She is rude to students and unreasonable. If you're a teacher you should like to work with students and interact, but she doesnt. She also has a lot of bias when grading assignments/tests. Very subjective and very corrupt. It's a pity becuase civics/american gov. is my favorite subject and she ruined it for me. Not a good experience.
taught me how to write essays made me think and question cares too much gets involved, had to study for the first time
Very poor communicator, coasting in job, can ruin a student's passion for the subject no matter how dedicated, tension year after year with students, poor reputation with parents as well. SWHS could
Genuinely dislikes kids and seems to enjoy making things difficult for them. Expects you to understand her when she is not clear at all. Never take a class with her, it ruined my junior year.
Stapleton is one of the most underrated teachers. If your a "trouble maker" dont take her class. If your respectful to her and do your homework, its an easy class, and she wont give you a hard time
She doesn't tell you what to do, but expects that you do it. Her stories are fun, she she is so unclear it's scary.
I don't actually think people give her a fair chance. If you ask for help, she'll practically give you the answers. But you have to ask. And outside of her difficult class, she's a really nice person.
i'll give it to you straight: she's a great person and she has great stories. however, she really does not understand how to prepare tests. also, get together as a class and beg for progress reports.
she made me stay after for a 10 in detention once and she's a really hard teacher but she's such a sweet person. she knows what shes talking about.
She's a little tough, but if you stay after with her for help, she's wicked sweet and you'll get on her good side. Plus, some of the stories she has are amazing.
I loved her and thought she was funny. She really cared about my whole class and we had excellent discussions.
There is one word to describe her: Awesome. She is strict at some points and can be demanding, but she is a very special person. She is very committed to improving the lives of others. You learn a lot
she really challenges you as a stupid which makes her an amazing teacher but shes so mean to her students, and if your beliefs arent the same as hers, their wrong and she lets you know it.
A little forgetful but very nice, will take the time to help you out
She's a nice lady and is actually pretty funny, but her grading system is way out of whack. It's almost impossible to get a good grade: She just "doesn't know" where all your points went.
Mrs. Stone is awesome! She's very nice, and always is willing to listen to you when you have a problem, or need someone to talk to. I love her a lot.
Will never admit to a mistake and generally has no concern for her students. Needs to remember she is there for the students, the students are not there for her.
my main problem with her is the lack of respect she gives twords students yet expects to be respected, if a teacher fails to show respect then a student with fail to give respect
Ms. Stapleton is awsome! if u make any attempt to get to know her she instantly warms up to you! awesome teacher and very interesting <3
I think that she is a great teacher with a lot of knowledge. I don't think people really take the time to get to know her. People just hear stuff about her and automatically judge
She is a good teacher once you get to know her teaching stlye...i had her for 2 years...hint hint...use the line, "Of course ms. stapleton!" when answering a qu
Not the best teacher...but a great person. Get on her good side and stay there, and you'll be fine.
i have a lot of respect for her, shes a good person with a lot of experience and knowledge. form your own opinion of her, work hard, and you will do well
She's a bit harsh in class, but if you talk to her after class, she has tons of cool experiences and knows a lot, give her a chance, i did, and didn't regret it
