Gary is one of those teachers who don't have to be from the same ethnic group to understand to be able to help out his students. When I heard that he would be teaching a Black History class- at first I wasn't so sure that even he with so much charisma would not be able to pull it off, BUT he DID. In this day in time it is hard to find a dedicated teacher who really believe its all about the kids, and not just waiting to get a paycheck- he most definitely works hard for his! Keep up the good work

Hands down the best teacher I ever had. He's just so knowledgable and passionate that it's hard not to love his class.
