Mr. Goes is gruff, but he's a damn good physics teacher. He knows the course material like the back of his hand, and explains everything with utmost clarity. His class can be boring at times (especially for a senior who didn't care too much), but the class is pretty easy, especially when considering all the retest options. He's also super edgy and cool.

genuinely the worst teacher i have ever had. every time a student asked him a question, instead of answering it, he'd give very condescending and sarcastic when students ask him questions. he's pretty clueless with equations and derivations, he just has them memorized and tells everyone the very basics. he has no teacher support and doesn't care about his students at all.

I seriously have no idea how he is a teacher. He doesn't know what he is talking about. He frequently forgets equations. Lectures are basically "here are the equations and some super simple example problems that will never actually show up on tests/quizzes!" Lets not even talk about teacherly support. It's non-existent. If you dare to ask him a question, he'll be extremely condescending and you'll wish you never even attempted to ask the question.

Avoids all questions about the true derivation of physics, doesn't answer any questions he does not want to answer. Often makes students feel dumb when they ask him questions.

(Review for NORMAL PHYSICS)
Funny guy and easy to talk to with very real world kind of views. Don t expect him to bump your 89.8 bc he would think it doesnt matter overall and u r being a tryhard. Hard to talk to if you have questions so make sure to ask other students for help bc usually there's a few kids who want an A and know whats goin on. A cool person and a decentish teacher..dont know what it would have been like for physics honors though..since the concepts were easy i didnt rly try

Goes does not exactly teach at the level you would expect a physics teacher to. This is fine if you do not plan on majoring in engineering, since you will learn physics. However, if you do plan on majoring in engineering, this will not help you. At all. A middle-schooler could learn at the level Goes teaches at. Goes is a good teacher, but too simplistic.

If you get him, your sure to have at least one good class. He teaches at a fair pace and is reasonable with grading. If you get him, keep him as a teacher.

I miss Mr Goes, I don't think any Physics teacher comes close to what he can teach you. He really makes physics understandable and fun at the same time. Too bad when you go off to college you're forced to follow the professor's way of solving the equations and end up confusing yourself.

Goes is awesome. He does everything he can to make physics interesting, which is a pretty hard task. Awesome teaching, straight-forward. Projects are fun and actually apply to what you're learning and they can really help your grade.

Probably the teacher that all students can really connect with. His stories are great and some actually relate to physics. If you ever get the chance, just talk with him before class about his life.
