He is a really nice guy..if you don't do anything to annoy him. He is willing to help you outside of class, but only if you ask. And outside help is the best. He talks in English and you totally under
This guy is actually hilarious, just really, really intimidating... He has pretty set conservative views, and he WILL talk about them. He likes to give good grades, and just does his own thing really
Overall a mean person. He will try to belittle and embarass students in order to get them to answer his questions. It's not a very effective teaching method and mostly just makes people scared of him.
wow. really out there. talks about random stuff all the time. always study ALL vocab words and culture section of the textbook.
He definatly has plays favorites. Doubles were horrible. Doesn't have a lesson plan, just talks forever. But you have to pay attention because the minute you don't, he calls on you. good luck
although tough at times, a really good teacher, and a fair grader in the end
I had him for 100 and it was the worst decision of my life. He makes you feel like and idiot in class. Save yourself quick and take Japanese w/ Ms. Shimazu
Can be intimidating in class and embarrass you, but just don't be afraid of him and you will do fine.He is actually really funny and knows his stuff.Get him for 120 but not 100, hes hard to begin with
very biase, and wont unfortunatly doesnt notice it. he does know spanishw ell, but his test are hard to read because theyre hand written, didnt enjoy him
Good teacher, likes spanish a lot, too. And he does talk a lot, but hes smart about who knows what (and who doesnt). Not too hard if you pay attention andstudy
he is a good teacher alothough he needs to explain things alittle bit more. And perhaps he could ramble less.
i only knew him as a swimming coach, but he was nice. he did seem to go off on random points, and he didn't really help the other ppl very much
I don't know what the huge problem is. If you participate actively, listen, and don't worry about being late for your next class, he's wonderful. (for span 300)
the only reason he became a teacher was to hear his own voice.
Mr. Dix, goes on forever and ever and ever. He always lets us out of class late (10 to 15 minutes) and he has only given us a break during a double once. I used to really not like him, but I'm getting used to him now.
He's a nice guy and a smart one too (Princeton), but I wish he would let us talk more in class. Instead, it seems like he goes on tangents by himself and then complains that WE don't participate enough...
Goes off on tangents for the entire class. He complains that we don't talk enough, but it's because he never gives us a chance. Nice guy though.
