I'm someone who always hated English during high school. Ms. Harding is one of the best teachers I've ever had and by far the best English teacher at the upper school. She's incredibly fair and openmi
This woman is not only a fantastic teacher; she is a wonderful person.
Everyone complains that she only accepts a single point of view - but honestly, this technique has really forced me to understand the material that I am reading better than ever before. She is quite an excellent jus for that.
You will probably hate her first quarter, but towards the end of the year you realize how much she genuinely cares about you. Loved the books we read in "self' and had a great time as far as english can go
Inconsistent. Some days she's helpful and some days she makes you feel incompetent for not immediately knowing something she spent 8 years studying and 20 years teaching.
She is probably misunderstood- though she is a difficult, maybe subjective grader, she is extremely well intentioned. She really wants her students to understand the material.
She's hasn't taught me anything, but there isn't any work beyond the reading. Lectures are useless and disjointed. Lower standards than last year.
Going from my teacher last year to Harding was like going from a rich glass of Merlot to a swig of the cheap house red.
I took her class in 2000, and she is a very cool lady. The class is difficult, but very satisfying. She is more than willing to help you out. Loves teaching.
she's a very hard grader, and doesn't allow you to formulate your own argument. you can only do well if you argue her point of view.
Although harding may be a nice teacher, it is only a front. take a hint from her name...she is hard and i suggest u switch if u have her next year.
good, smart lady, a bit condecending and boring, a big step down from my teacher last year, but still pretty good.
