I took Señor Campos a couple years ago, and it was one of the best experiences I have had learning. The man goes above and beyond to educate his students in more than just Spanish. I was prepared for college in that class more than in any other. He made sure that I had a plan for my future. His grading may seem a little arbitrary but I promise no one will get a grade they don't deserve. He rewards improvement and efforts. This is why you send your son to Jesuit. For teachers like him.
I think that not only is Campos the best Spanish teacher, but all language teachers should follow his example. We need to make Spanish great again. We need to build a wall, and make the Latin students pay for it! All jokes aside, this teacher is great. Whether or not we have homework can kind of be confusing, and we often go on political tangents, but that's part of the experience. I learned more Spanish here than I did in the entirety of my academic career, and he keeps students like me engaged
As a parent who thinks it's not acceptable for teachers to advocate their political views in the classroom, it's good to see some students speaking out about certain Jesuit teachers trying to indoctrinate our children. From my perspective I think twice before supporting a school that allows this to go on.
I wish he'd teach my children Spanish instead of trying to make them drink liberal Kool-Aid. I hear he goes off on 45 minute tangents about how great that idiot obumbler is. I pay HOW much to send my children here and he's preaching libocrite ideals? I could get this at public schools for free! I'm thinking he should go back to Mexico if he thinks it's so much better than America and is tired of the people who made this country great, apparently he favors people who destroy our country more.
Liberal extremist, gets off topic constantly, not very clear with homework instructions, speaks little Spanish in class, however when he does teach he is usually helpful. Hates Cal Berkeley, loves Standford.
Yes or no
Will NOT email parents back when they have questions about their son's grades. Not sure if it's an inability to use the internet, a fear of new technology, or just too important to be bothered to return parents MULTIPLE emails. Does NOT post homework grades until the end of the semester, so you never know how your son is doing. Should have been put out to pasture a LONG time ago. To say I'm not impressed would be an understatement.
I love having Mr. Campos, although he is a hardcore liberal and speaks of politics a lot, you still learn more Spanish in his class than any other Spanish class I'll bet you'll ever take.
He's really hard but knows what he's talkining about when it comes to Spanish, but definetly not politics. Remember not to cross him when it comes to Obama, he will take your head off.
Hard teacher but the best and awesomess I ever had. Loved his drawings of manzanas! Probably learned more about politics than Spanish lol!
very fair teacher and grader. you do learn a lot in his class. he does get sidetracked by politics quite often but he does know what he's talking about.
Mr. Campos is the coolest teacher probably ever. He's so helpful if you need anything and hardly ever gives a real JUG
Mr Campos is the man haha. My second year and its easy for me. He gets sidetracked a lot but its funny. He at least knows what he's talking about
He's easily drawn off topic and can never stop talking politics, but he's fun to argue with.
best teacher i ever had, and quite possibly the greatest tecaher in the history of mankind...he also loves george bush
this teacher is the best spanish teacher I've ever had
Great teacher, great guy, one of the best teachers I've had the pleasure of having, but damn, his class is hard!
best teacher i've had at jesuit... hands down, great guy, n knows what he's talkin about. he's hard but fair
Completely Fair..but seems to think less of some students. Always seems to think less of me even though I show him respect
I've had him for two years and he's the best teacher ever and totally fair, you can't ask for much more.
Helped me catch up with the pace of accelerated spanish quickly. Great teacher.
