His economics class was a complete waste of time. I could have written an informational essay about how long it takes for paint to dry and it would have been better than his class
Mr. Baird rarely taught a through informative lesson. He would spend 20min. Plus talking and then told us to do our workbook. The only reason I passed with an A is because I guess you could call me a history geek or history wiz. He constantly was off topic. Let me give you an example. He will start off with some information on a topic such as Napoleon and then he will completely switch to something like when I visited china in the 1980s. I was sitting there with the expression like really?
Not a teacher, just someone to tell me what pages I should read on my own; he is, essentially, a living whiteboard.
Show up with a work-oriented attitude and receive uncooperativeness, unhelpfulness, and general indifference. His twenty year tenure made him forget his role as a teacher.
By far one of my all time favorite teachers. The only reason the class is so easy is because he makes it fun (In my opinion) and easy to understand, if you do the work
Cares about his students, he got me a 4 on AP Gov. Didn't even have to read the book. Just listen to him. He knows what he's talking about.
Easiest A in an AP class I ever had... but SO BORING!! If you're a democrat, expect to be called a "tree hugging hippie" several times throughout the year.
Make sure you study and do all your homework and you will do fine. For AP Government, too many notes!
