AP Chemistry was really challenging, but Mr. Wheeler is great at teaching it. He is the best teacher I've had from North, and also a really nice person. His class will get confusing if you aren't paying attention 24/7, but he will always help you if you're struggling. His tests are usually difficult, but they're good preparation for the AP exam. Smart guy, great teacher

Amazing teacher. Had him for AP Chemistry a couple years back..only AP I ever got a 5 on. Decided my major because of that class. It's a fast-paced, difficult class, but he's a very good teacher, so it balances out. Just have to be willing to put in some time. Fun, interesting guy! Always cracking jokes. Just make sure you're paying attention in class so that the joke's not on you. :)

I love Mr. Wheeler! He's a great teacher and explains stuff pretty well, though he doesn't know how to explain stuff other than what the book says. He has some pretty cool science related stories. I warn you though, don't be stupid during the lecture, cause then he'll make a joke about it and embarrass you. If you can't take a joke, you're gonna have a bad time. He's pretty chill though and is always there to help.

Mr. Wheeler was an AWESOME chemistry AP teacher. All other schools in Torrance require taking chem honors before chem ap, but sadly, North doesn't have an honors class. Instead, they have Mr. Wheeler!

He expects too much from AP students. I know we need to cover a lot, but he's going way too fast, and some of us aren't smart like the top 5 people in class.

Overall, a nice person. The only thing is that he expects so much out of his AP class. He expcets you to know everything, and expects everything to be easy.
