Incredibly incompetent - to put it bluntly, she shouldn't be a teacher. Best thing you can do for yourself is switch out or make some noise so the school is forced to do something about her. Poor character and personality.
super great person, really smart. sometimes sarcastic and pokes fun at certain students, but its always playful and funny. easy grader on tests, i got the best grade I've ever gotten in math in her class. she's also a SUPER talented athlete
I heard she's a terrific track coach, but she is an awful teacher. She can play favorites. She shoots down many kids in the class: very sarcastic in a mean way. Her tests are about two-three pages ahead from what you're learning. She never explains anything. Apparently, she may curve final grades... One can pray this still holds true.
She puts stuff on tests that we haven't learned and then takes points off fi we don't get it right. She doesn't explain things in class, and she texts while people are putting problems on the board. She's a nice person, and I've heard she's a great track coach(she's an Olympian) but she has no business being in a math classroom.
I got a B in math with her. She has no idea what she is talking about and isn't that clear. Very nice person.
A lovely woman who has no business teaching math. Actually lost our class's tests once. Just cope, be nice, and get outside help.
She's a nice teacher, but very hard. Up to this point math has been my guaranteed A subject. I got a B from her. She doesn't explain problems and takes a lot of points off for little mistakes. Tested on new stuff.
Ms. Coogan is amazing! If you actually take the time to study, you will do fine! She usually uses easy numbers on tests. Also, she's just an awesome person. =D
Very fair grader - no corrections or curves on tests. Tests = no notebook. But, also no need to study - as long as you understand concepts in class, you'll do very well.
If you know the material and she likes you you will ace her class. Doesn't explain a whole lot in class, but will always help you if you need it. Brutally fair. Some kids get 100s, some get 40s. Great coach too.
I love Ms. Coogan so much. :D I had her for 230. Not always terribly clear, but she made the class so much fun. I guess she's sort of hit-or-miss, because I almost got a perfect 100 overall in that class, but some get Ds. :\
Mrs. Coogan was a very good teacher, in my experience. She knew the material well, taught it well, and her tests were fair. She was nice and put up with our very obnoxious class. Your grade will be better than you expect.
She is so nice but I do not like her style of teaching. Very hard to understand because she isn't good at explaining things.
Nice enough...went out of her way to help me out one on one...make sure you participate and ask thoughful questions in class...she likes it...can play favorites
Ms.Coogan was one of the best math teachers I have had at this school. She's always there to help if you don't get it in class which is frighteningly often.
Intelligent, but can't teach. She's incredibly sarcastic and rude. She ignores and interrupts questions, shoots down ideas, and doesn't help much on problems.
mrs. coogan is pretty sarcastic, and fun. she isnt the greatest teacher and is kind of unclear but she is a cool person
the only good thing she does is make your grade higher than it really is
She's really nice and boosts your grades but not the best at explaining
she had favorites & couldnt teach & in the end i was really confused along w/ everyone else in the calss and everyone else ive talked to who had her
she's a really nice lady, but she can't teach at ALL!! I couldn't understand her explanations, but now that I'm not in her class, I don't mind her.
SO NICE I LOVE MS. COOGAN. One of the most trustworthy teachers here.
