Adding to the previous post, A plus for passion, knowledge, empathy, and personality. truly a gem in the field of physics teaching. Can't thank this teacher enough after college and the difference he made in my life. He would make a great Neil de Grasse Tyson even with the belly! :))))))

He is the best physics teacher at Tech. I had AP physics C with him in 2011 when I was in high school, and was able to get through college physics without a problem.
Try hard everyone!

Im glad Im in his first freshman class. He's one of the best teacher in the whole school. He gave me a LOT of suggestions and my friends who goes to his tutoring in the morning says that he's better than their own physics teacher. If you pay attention in his class, it's realll easy!

Although he is knowledgeable about the subject, he's easily distracted and rants about things sometimes not related to the lesson. There were many times the lesson was never finished yet he continues to give out homework. Also, he kept pushing back the collection of labs resulting in collecting all the labs on the last day of classes.

A very knowledgeable professor, but too smart to teach a senior class. If he taught juniors, he'd probably raise the average IQ of tech by 1 point just by teaching a class of 30 students. Unfortunately, he's wasted on seniors on don't want to do any work. Make better use of your assets tech!

Best teacher I've had during tech. He's the nicest person ever. I actually learned physics during his class! He taught me how to actually think and solve problems. Had him for physics B junior year but missed out on physics C senior year. If you want to learn (no matter what it is), hes the guy to go to. During my senior year I went to him for help in calculus, vector algebra and physics. He can teach! His exams are hard but you will get a good grade if you put in effort.
Oh yeah, hes funny.

He is the only man who should teach physics at tech. Very knowledgable. Only drawback of having him for AP C is that it'll be your senior year. He's very generous and nice.

I had him for math and I was absolutely horrible at anything with numbers. I consistently failed all his tests and I always struggled to answer questions in class but he was really nice. I think he knew I was just genuinely dumb, not that I was a slacker. He gave me an A for effort :)

Dr. Rogers is insanely brilliant, and really funny. As a teacher however I have to say that hey may have slipped a little bit from his earlier years. He's one of my favorite teachers no doubt but I think he chooses when to teach almost. Sometimes he seems disinterested or tired, while some days he blows your mind with amazing examples and crystal clear explanations. Most awesome teacher ever though.

i can really relate well to Mr.Rogers. he is a fair teacher. he doesnt stagg or procrastinate. he is on point with everything. He teaches us life lessons by telling us childhood stories from his native Guyana. He is one of those teachers you remember for life. the stuff he says stick with you. you are missing out without Mr.Rogers.

Dr. Rogers is awesome. With his help I managed a perfect score on my Physics AP even though it was senior year and I was kind of slacking. The stuff he says sticks with you because he always repeats the most basic -the most important- stuff every lecture. Has some amazing stories as well...plus he is insanely cool in his attitude. One of my fav tech teachers. Now in college, I can tell you that his class taught me THE MOST at how real college classes are taught. Recommend, take his class.
