She is not a good person. She takes a month to give back a test resulting in no chance to improve your grade. She grades unfair unless you already know how to speak Spanish. She won't help you. She yells all the time.
She goes on five minute rants whenever someone does or says the most minor thing. For example, a student was checking an answer with a neighbor ( and not disturbing the rest of the class in the slightest) and then she launches into a full blown tirade. And every day she just incessantly rambles about "responsibility" and "what we need to do" instead of TEACHING THINGS FOR THE TEST. Literally on our most recent test, I'd say about 30% was stuff she talked about in class. You CAN'T get an A.
great person, but her tests are way harder than they should be. there's always stuff that you don't know on her tests but if you pay attention and study you should get a B. no one gets an A though in Honors 3
Opinions vary on which side you're on (good or bad). I was personally on her good side although not her favorite. It's true, you do have to study for the test and try extremely hard but her grading scale is definitely UNFAIR. Although I was on her good side I think she was rude and spent a lot of time complaining about how there was no time which wasted even more time. Very into complaining but taking no action. She is however very passionate about her job & dedicated to those who appear to care
If she is your teacher, I suggest you check out of Taft. She is not a good teacher and gets angry if you ask questions. She makes immature and extremely dumb jokes during clas and everyone laughs just because theyre scared of her. I personally think shes the worst teacher I have ever had but everyones experiences are different.
one of the best teachers i have ever had. I hated her a lot in the beginning of the year because i thought she was really hard. But she prepared me and taught me the most information that any of my teachers have ever taught me. I learned so many study skills and am set for upcoming spanish. You will hate her i promise, if you are not on top of your game. You have to study the things she teaches you every day in order to succeed. You will not get an "A" but its worth it
Senora Sasson is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is dedicated and passionate about what she does and goes above and beyond to prepare her students. She prepares you for the real world and on top of everything she is absolutely hilarious
FYI: IF YOU ARE PERSIAN DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, SHE WILL PICK ON YOU. SHE WASTES TOO MUCH TIME TALKING ANOUT NY AND SAYING WIERD ANALOGIES.HER CLASS IS EASY/TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT OF HER TESTS IS IMPOSSIBLE UNLESS YOU SPEAK SPANISH
Not a nice lady. If you mess up once, you are forever on her bad side.
Sra. Sasson is definitely strict, but it works. Her classes are hard, but she teaches well. She is very easy to talk to and go to for help. Just don't get on her bad side. Its incredible how much Spanish you know by the end of the spanish classes with her.
I thought Senora Sasson was okay! She is a very knowledgeable teacher in Spanish, but she can be not helpful at times and can act rude to students who don't do their work! Otherwise, Senora Sasson is very knowledgeable, but neither friendly nor helpful!
She is VERY strict. She is very picky about everything. Don't get on her bad side because she does not change her opinion about you very much after that. Also, PAY ATTENTION. If you miss one thing, yo
"My way or the highway", once you fall behind, she isn't helpful, won't answer questions, and you can't study from previous tests, because they are her "intellectual property" (she never changes them)
im failing her class and Im scared! I dont know how to bring it up and even though I study for tests the wording is difficult t understand and I always fail them. I want another spanish teacher but sw
She is a truly dedicated teacher who expects a lot from you but in the end it's all worth it. Yes, the class is difficult, but it's also an experience you will never forget!
a lot of people hate her, but personally i think she's a great teacher. you just have to learn to get comfortable with her AND PAY ATTENTION AND STUDY AT ALLLL TIMES!
Most fair teacher. Listens to everything students have to say. Goes above and beyond what is required of a teacher. She works her hardest and pays for it, but she does it passionately. Very respectful
Rarely gives As. Unfair teacher. Does not listen to student complaints. Veeery difficult grading system. Although she does prepare students for AP, she cares more about her AP scores than thestudents.
awesome teacher. those who don't pass her do not try hard enough. if you are in honors and Ap's dont complain she really is preparing you!
This teacher knows how to make her class interesting. She does explain material relatively well; however, her grading system is one of the toughest in school. Avoid her if you can!
i started liking her after i left her class lol. umm i dont know y some ppl were complaining...her tests were ez...just remember the vocab and verbs...not as good as serfaty though
hard even if you study tremendously.. not very clear with what is on the tests.
really like Sasson; Her teaching methods are something new and she's making me laugh- Her class is hard but only if u dont study. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY 4 YOURSELF
Her tests and grading are both extremely unfair as well as unclear. She does not help her students when they need it, and teaches only what in the book.
She's extremely unfair and even if your percentage says otherwise, she'll give you the grade she FEELS like giving you. If she doesn't like you, GET OUT NOW!
Grading system is totally unfair, and tests need futher directions. Not one of my favorite teachers.
Enjoys giving students a hard time, don't bother asking a question if you don't understand something.
shes a cool teacher but you cannot get the grade you deserve
Her "material" gets old quick, and although she's a decent teacher, expect her to overreact at some completely inane things. Plus, her class ain't easy.
A great teacher. Really funny and knows what she's talking about. However, she can have an attitude and opinions of her are mixed.
She's somewhat intimidating at first, but just all right when you get use to her class. Some good stuff--but difficult, usually two-day tests with listening and written sections.
