It is disappointing to see the harsh reviews. Mrs. Goldberg was, at least when I was her student way, way back in 1969, the best teacher I had at New Dorp. She taught me how to write, and she inspired me, first to become a teacher, and then, after several years, to become a lawyer. She was demanding and not an easy grader. But she cared about helping us reach our potential; she pushed us to become better thinkers, readers, and writers.
If I said what I really thought you couldn't print it. A heartless, souless, hypocritical, self-serving person who should never have become a teacher
An emotional and social cripple. This woman is totally self-involved and mean-spirited. Too bad they dson't test character on the teachers' exam.
Ms Goldberg is a very nice lady who has been around for many many years and knows a great deal of stuff.
Strict but exerienced and intelligent. Knows a lot of stuff.
very nice a little hard but always there when we need her.
We call her Ms. Meanberg. She's nasty, demeaning and knows far less than she thinks she does. We've caught her pretending to have an answer. PHONEY!
Uninteresting, uninformed, full of herself, a me person who couldn't begin to connect and doesn't even want to. AAGH
Had her in 89. I'm an English teacher and have to thank her for pasing me in 89!
She is still teaching??? Great teacher, but very strict! She is really nice to know!
Had her in 92. I enjoyed the novels we read but she could be a bit dry and not very personable.
She is very sweet if you give her a chance. She is a good teacher!
I don't understand why everyone hates her. I think she is so nice, however, she really should stop reminding us how smart her daughter is. Shes cool.
