Harry Schultz was my Senior year English teacher in '02. Hard, but fair and so knowledgeable. When I requested to be transferred into his class, he literally took an empty desk that was next to his own and said, "this one isn't being used, so I think that means it's okay for you to transfer." He'd even give me crits on my artwork. I wrote to him after graduating from art college as an illustrator, and was thankful he still remembered me. Thank you for everything!!!
Greatest teaching influence I've had in my entire life. I feel lucky to have been able to take him for 2 years.
One of the greatest minds I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. A genius of life. Mr. Schultz, if you ever look at these, just know that even many years later, I am still using what you taught me, and I hope you are doing well. Thanks for everything.
By far the best teacher I ever had which includes grad school, college and grade school. It's a shame that kids in SBHS will not be able to take him.
He was HARD and absolutely BRILLIANT! WOW! they dont make them like that anymore. How could one NOT learn free thought and interpretation in his class? you will, but you may fail a few times 1st!
i had schultz for film and he is by far the best teacher ive ever had in high school. im so lucky i was able to have him during his last year teaching. he changed my life and i'll miss him a lot!
I took him in 1986 and he was the best teacher ever. I learned a lot and he treated us like adults - it was the most i learned in any high school class
awesome, insightful, teacher, plenty of discussions, never runs low on info
i like mr. schultz and his class...but i m still trying to figure out how to do "HOW TO ANSWER THE QUESTION POSED" for the apology...his class is hard and i can't seem to get a good grade in it! yet i still like it!...btw can any1 help me with this...hehe
I took Mr. Schultz's class in 1993... BEST TEACHER EVER! I am so glad he is still teaching!
I had Mr. Schultz in 2005 when I was a senior.....He was the best teacher I have ever had. I was so lazy senior year, but that was the class I was happy to work for. I looked forward to that class every time I went. I can honestly say that I love Mr. Schultz.....he taught me well about English....and gave me an interesting perspective on life. Thanks Mr. Schultz!!
Graduated in 96...He has an extraordinary influence over students that should be witnessed by all new teachers entering the profession.
I graduated in 1991 and Harry Shultz was the greatest teacher I ever had
he is kind of a hard teacher but just amazing. i don't think i really appreciated him until halfway through the year though but he's absolutley amazing and just a genuinely good person. he never acts coldly towards you even if you never hand in any of your work and just really teaches you how to write well.
Mr Schultz is not easy, but his essay assignments are interesting and challenging. My best writing came out of this class. We spent months reading Hamlet, often using an entire week to discuss one line. I've never had better class discussions.
I graduated in 1991. Mr. Schultz was one of the best teachers I have ever had (including college). I wouldn't be where I am today as a person and professional. Thank you Mr. Schultz!!
I know that Mr. Shultz would proabably not remember me as I graduated from SBHS in 1983, but I will never forget him. Even 23 years later, he is remembered fondly as a committed and inspiring teacher. Why am I not surprised to see that he is still teaching. I am a teacher now, and I still tell my students about teachers like Harry Shultz.
He knows what he's talking about. He doesn't only teach English or Film Analysis...he teaches Life. Absolutely inspiring.
Likes to talk a lot eay to get him off topic. knows his stuff like the back of his hand
Harry Schultz is the only teacher I've met who has steadfastly worked to help prepare students to become fully functioning, thinking , feeling individuals )hence the term "Humanities")..as it is to give them the tools to pursue a career. I can say without any hesitation that he is as intelligent and gifted a man as any I've ever met.
Thinking about SBHS (after a prolonged absence and not much contact with many people from SB) as my 20th HS reunion approaches I am reminded of just how fantastic Harry Schultz was as a teacher. I graduated from a solid undergrad and graduated with honors from an Ivy league Graduate School and Harry Schultz ranks among the top three teachers (including life lessons) that I have ever had. I remember the Kafka essay that I wrote for him - which was the most honest self reflection that I have ever done...
he is the greatest teacher I have ever had i wouldn't be where i am today without him
Hard to believe I had Mr. Schultz 5 years ago. Sole reason I'm able to write the tons of papers I have to write as a Psych/Sociology student. YOU'LL LEARN!!!!
best teacher ive ever had, including college. i love this man. do anything you can to get into his class!
I graduated in '96, and am now in law school. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for Harry Schultz.
The greatest teacher and person I have ever encountered. Always try and take him, I've learned more about life in his class than anywhere else in my life.
As a graduate of SBHS I am only beginning to see how amazing of a human being Mr. Schultz really is. THANK YOU MR. SCHULTZ! An

9 years after I graduated and I still think he is the greatest teacher I have ever had. I realize more now than I ever did all that I learned from him.
I can't say enough about this man. His perspective on life is amazing and changed my outlook on life. Thank you Harry!!
