She was a great teacher, who instilled in me a love of history. The legendary Civil War Project took me forever and ended up thirty five pages, but I learned a lot about organization and history. I was terrified of her, but when the year was over I was grateful that my class was the last that had her. I was lucky!

The end of an era: a truly 'old school" teacher retires. A fantastic teacher that everyone remembers.

Well first of all although she is mean on the surface, she is still a great teacher. I really learned a lot in her class to say, and was well prepared for the future(Advanced Social Science Classes) Though when it came to yearbook, it got really confusing. Although after finishing the yearbook, we got to watches movies, and do our homework. (even in the IRC) Truth is I learned a lot in her class, and how to do short answer kind of questions. PS: Civil War Report- not too bad just don't procrast

She is fairly easy and the Civil war report was alot easier than I thought it would be. She is pretty nice if you talk to her now and then. She always says..Okay? Listen to her she dosn't stop saying it.

Her class might be nasty when you're in it, but she really teaches well and knows what she's doing, and she prepares you well for future years. Watch out for her tests, they can be evil, but if you study up, you will do just fine. The civil war report wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated because she broke it into well-organized sections that made it very straightforward. Although she disliked me without reason for the first half of the year, this was mended, and I respect her as a teacher.

In yearbook she doesn't answer our questions and keep making us switch assignments so we have no idea what we are supposed to do! The only reason why she gets a 2 is because she lets us eat in class.

First off, let me say that the civil war report was not THAT bad. If you get her, make sure to get ahead so you don't pull an all niter on the last day. She grades them pretty easy, I got a perfect score :) As for her tests, they're kinda hard and she rarely gives partial credit, and it takes her quite a while to return them, sometimes at least a month. She does play favorites, so try to get on her good side. She means business in that classroom! But she does know how to teach, I learned a lot.

She was no help: didn't give feedback on homework until two MONTHS later. By that time students all dug holes that were hard to get out. She gives ONE DAY notice on tests that were unscheduled.

She is a bit mean to some people when she didn't need to be, and isn't very generous when it comes to things like grading tests and things. However, when she is in a good mood, she is a relatively pleasant lady.
