He taught at GOA this past year and was an amazing teacher. He was hard but he only expected the best from us. As a 9th grader, he really helped rekindle my love of literature and increased my writing and analytical abilities tremendously. Everyone needs Mr. Glatt, I don't know where I would be without him. Appropriately tough but incredibly smart. I'm so thankful I had him.
I consider myself so fortunate to have had Mr. Glatt for the second semester of this school year. Mr. Alexis, the former principal of Chatham is now our Principal and invited Mr. Glatt to teach here as a replacement teacher. He was by far the best English teacher I've ever had. He was able to show us how to look at language and literature in way we had never experienced. I believe I learned more in this half year than I had in the previous two years. I only wish I had had him for a full year
Mr. Glatt was honestly the best english teacher I have ever had. I will truly miss the interesting class discussions and his input on my writing. I was never bored in his class, he is a great teacher.
Mr. Glatt was the best english teacher I have ever had. I loved the intellectual discussions we had in his class about the reading he assigned.
Although the curriculum was difficult, he was the best, most articulate teacher I have ever had.
My Glatt is the best teacher I have ever had. He really shows a passion for his subject and shows an interest in helping all of his students. He single handedly taught me how to really write.
Students seem to either love or hate Mr. Glatt. I personally dislike his teaching style (to talk and make his ideas ours). He talks for most of the class, and is a very harsh grader.
A decent teacher who is clearly passionate about his subject and is an excellent, if harsh, essay grader. He does love the sound of his own voice, though, and can be ridiculously pigheaded.
Mr. Glatt is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had! He makes the entire atmosphere of a normal, boring high school classroom change into an intelligent collegial experience
Mr. Glatt is a certifiably brilliant english scholar. He is very passionate about extracting creative thoughts and solid writing from his students, and is generally very succesful in this endeavor. All of the sophistication of this rating is thanks to him
Really cool - A lot like Larry David if anyone knows him from the TV show "Curb your Enthusiasm". Knows his stuff too.
The most helpful, inspiring teacher I had in high school. No one prepared me better for college. Thanks Mr. Glatt.
mr glatt is the smartest man I have ever met. he passes on his love of literature to his students in a way that is exciting and enlightening.
