I believe the above comments are all wrong and bias to the fact that students are not appreciating her way of teaching. Ms iacabino is a very good teacher who really tries hard and takes seriousness on her work. She is always open for help and helped me very much as I struggled since I took a 3 week vacation in December last year. Ms iacabino is also very nice but also very serious during class. It is,however, preposterous to call her a bad teacher as she goes well beyond a job of just teaching.

Well. she is verrrrrry unhelpful. i remember one time when we were doing a group project in class we were confused on a question so one of the kids in our group went up to her and asked her about it and when he came back all he said was "she just rephrased the question." dont even waste ur breathe asking her a question. i dont even understand y shes still around. so many ppl wanted 2 and did transfer out of her class. she doesnt even have tenyer so idk y they keep her. shes pretty nice tho

Doesn't teach very well :( I do very bad in her class. Usually a straight A student. I even got my own Math private tutor to make up for her poor teaching. She doesnt give us enough practice before we take out test every week so i do bad on the tests. I don't understand why she's an 8th grade math teacher...very bad. Ugh . Disappointing and makes me kinda angry. I even had to get a *private math tutor* . I shouldn't need to do that at all. She should be able to teach me my math so that i wont need extra he

... Where to begin. She's not exactly good now that she was moved up to 8th grade... a bunch of students got transfered out of the team before the year started just because of her. She can NOT explain anything, and when you ask a question she responds with a different version of the question. I suggest NOT asking for help from her because she will most likely make you even more confused.... If you have her be prepared to learn independently, or have someone who understands the material to talk to. Goodluck!
