AH I miss her so much! She was adorable and kind, and once I got used to her accent I found it very easy to learn from her.
she was really nice to me, and if you listen to her the tests aren't hard. get a spanish/english dictionary because if you ask her what something means she'll probably tell you to look it up.
She is a great teacher. She teaches well, and you have to know your Spanish. And if not study. Her quizzes are okay, not too hard, yet whatever she tells you to know, you should know. If you really do not understand one thing, you really have to learn it before the next tests.
shes so sweet! an excellent teacher; it is hard to understand the way she talks to the class & it is because she is from peru ( i think). you get a lot of homework ( sometimes)and you have little quizes every week , and a test every other week. EASY TEACHER ; just do good if you want to go to honors
An excellent teacher and puts alot of effort into what she does, give here a break, teaching isn't all the teachers job, you have to work also.
i love ms de la torre as a person, but she is a bad teacher. we spend all of class reading homework and going over the next day's homework. then, we get handouts, which is what we study for. bad teacher, good person. i would NOT want her for AP. the entire class is spent waiting for the bell to ring
I cant understand what she is saying cause she talks too fast
i had her for spanish 3 honors and our classs was behind the regular spanish classes!.. i didnt learn a single thing. i spent 40 min looking at my watch waiting for the bell to ring
her class is just 45 min in btwn one class and another, thank god i speak spanish becuz i would not be learning anything from her sry but its the truth....
She is nice, and as i had her for 2 terms, i think i would know, she means well, and is sweet. i do know some people who have had her for ap, though, that is not good, or so i have heard.
she put me to sleep 2 or 3 times in between her lesson... i dont think teachers are supposed to do that
U have to teach yourself with her unclear handouts. Classtime is a waste of time. Ur speaking won't improve b/c she talks(mumbles) all the time.
she teaches spanish and im puerto rican....i think she needs to re-learn the language because i dont understand one word shes saying.
what a flakey teacher! she needs to stop mumbling and start learning how to get info across to students.
I love her, I've known her since second grade because she is my best friends mother. She's a good teacher I thought, and I passed the regents with a 95.
She is a very hard working teacher. Thank you for helping me improve my Spanish.
I LOVE YOU MS. DELATORRE! YOU'RE THE BEST SPANISH TEACHER
even though shes not the greatest teacher, I LOVE MS. DELATORRE! shes so nice and easy, i got a 90 without doing any work the whole term, i wish i had her again
Ms. Delatorre is the easiest teacher ever...you dont even have to do your homework and you get points for saying you have it.
i cant tell this teachers spanish from her english! she mumbles and just sits at her desk and talks quietly. i know she has good intentions, but i get so confused!
She's a nice woman & all but teaching isn't her thing. Her english is horrible & her spanish is jumbled. I'm always asking what she's talking about in her class
Ms.Dilatorre is a very dedicated teacher. Her red eyes exemplifies her dedication. She teaches you exactly what to know, and there are no shortcuts in learnin
she teaches us alot, but we go so fast that it doesnt really stick in our minds. also she refers to the work being from a lower level which isnt nice.
I really think this lady could go back to teaching school and learn 2 clear things out.
