He was a degrading person with a cruel perosnality. He was very hard to get along with and not very undertanding or kind. He was an all around jerk to have as a teacher. One of my least favorite teachers to have, ever. I would feel sorry for anyone that had to have Melum as a teacher.

He is very passionate, and motivational. He has helped me become more knowledgeable in English. He has helped me improve my writing skills. Mr. Melum is clear for the most part and is always there when you need help. He is a great teacher and I'd strongly recommend him to other students. He enjoys English, and makes the class enjoyable as well. He is also very analytical and encourages others to participate.

Mr. Melum is quite a teacher. His class is without a doubt the most difficult class I have ever taken. He is extremely knowledgeable, with a witty attitude all appreciate. His only downfall is that he grades his class of 15/16 year old teens as if we're college seniors. When it comes to essays, he expects nothing less than perfection. Above all Melum pushes his students to produce their finest work

he is a very challenging teacher, especially when it comes to essays. He's very smart but seems to teach us and grade us as if we were 22 year old college students.Often the projects and essays are confusing
