Mr. Isberg is retiring this year, and admittedly, he was not always the most engaging or challenging teacher. He does have a really good heart though. You can tell he loves what he does, and even though his courses may require self-study, I felt as though I took a lot from it.
He is very myopic. Can't teach, doesn't knows what he's doing, talks about nothing the whole period, grades very unfairly, and has a short attention span. Whenever he makes a test, he puts topics you will not learn in class. At least he is going into retirement :)
He's pretty cool and all and he understands the subject he is teaching, but really struggles with explaining or demonstrating it clearly and concisely. Rambles on a lot. Seems like the kind of kid that's lonely and was picked on a lot, so sympathy points for him, I guess.
He is better as a Santa Claus model than a teacher.
As a freshman, I couldn't stand him. Somehow I managed to end up in his bio class for English learners, which he didn't seem to care too much about. To him, it seemed, the class was just another job to get over with to coach his swim team. From what I hear, he's actually quite an exceptional coach. Then again, I'm reviewing him for his terribly-conducted bio class. In retrospect, I feel bad for him. But as a sophomore in college, I have yet to meet a worse teacher than poor Mr. Isberg.
His class is super easy, but you don't really learn anything clearly. He's nice and I swam for him, he loves his team too much
i've never had him as a teacher, but i've swam with him for years. Likes to ramble about some Scott Semacello...or someone like that. Deserves more credit than he recieves because he really does try.
He gets mad when you don't listen to him but then if you do things after he tell you once, he'll be nice to ya
I hate this teacher, i had him for two years and those two years were wasted. GET MR. DRIES Ahe is the best bio teacher
SO strange, but he was really interesting. Gave a LOT of extra credit, which helped students that were falling back. Since he's the swimming coach, he knows how to yell, but he's pretty nice.
Its hard to pay attention to him, he talks nonstop and says k about 100 times a day lol. he gives you a lot of extra credit but personally i didnt learn much from him.
He is a really nice teacher with a lot of extra credit !!
He's a misunderstood guy - his class is simple once you get how he teaches, and realize that he gives you the answer most of the time. Just ask if he's not clear, but you might be stuck for a few min.
Really helpful, you can easily get a passing grade if you ask him for extra credit.
has a tough time controlling his classes. usually just shows a movie when tired or something. his class is easy but there are loads of hw and tests are impossible to get an A on
talks about the most random stuff, usually speaks to himself and no one in class ever listens, tests are extremely hard to get an A on but hw and cw are easy
Instead of actually teaching us, he pretty much just makes you copy the book and then tests you. Not a very good teacher, and often gives you a random video to watch if hes "tired" or something.
the classwork and hw is pretty straightforward and easy to do. his grading for cw, hw, and labs are pretty good. but his tests are REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to get an A on. you'l
Unlike some teachers, he teaches us, or in some cases, TRIES to teach us. He's pretty shy and rather carefree. and if you do well and be good, he doesnt watch you as much. *sleeps*
He's hecka cool i don't know why you would put him down he's just trying to teach you something
There are a lot of bad things said about Mr. I but every teacher has flaws. His style of teaching is different. I know his methods are boring but effectual
one word - boring. i really dont know what else to say. he doesnt seem to relate to the students. hes like in his own little bubble. hello, when you're a teacher, be a teacher.
Freaky Guy... He dances to all the music on every biology video we watched
worst out of the three biology teachers we have this year!!! way uncool, unhelpful, and unsupportive. really careless too!
He is a really good teacher at all levels. The only exception is he sometimes doesn't answer your question when ask because he is doing something else.
I feel bad because kids give him such a hard time, but he really tries as a teacher. He deserves much more respect than hes given.
He's so boring, but the way to pass his class is to jot down whatever he's saying, because he gives you all the answers, but he can totally snap.
I agree. He's boring but he's a decent guy. Every now and then some student feels the need to pick on him. He's alright.
This guy is Mr. Monotone.. He's got to be the boringest teacher at the school
