Great teacher for 3/4 for Spanish. Hated participating though.
Easy Class, just a lot of work in class and at home, also the really one thing you have to pass his class is participation (speaking spanish in class.)
He has a lot of attitude. If you don't know something, he won't help you but give you attitude until you understand it. Sometimes I feel like he tries to embarrass people. Something I like about this class is you learn a lot everyday, not one single minute is wasted.
Mr. Valinhas is a fantastic teacher. He gives a lot of work, but you actually learn in his class. I didn't like him at all at first, but towards the end of the year, he ended up being my favorite teacher. You just have to be patient and organized, and do your work. I hope I can have him next year for Spanish AP! :D
he is very good at teaching spanish and he gives you a lot of work but its reasonable to have so you can learn it. he explains very clearly but he is picky about cleanliness and is SUPER organized. he
One of the best teachers in Alhambra High. There's a point in everything you do in class, just be patient, the best is yet to come!
His class runs on this routine that never changes. Homework everyday, vocabulary review, homework review, and notes. Sometimes memory games and movies. Had him for spanish 3/4.
A teacher that really cares about his students and wants them to succeeds. He gives alot of opportunities to make up bad grades. He really does "teaches" and you learn from it. A spanish teacher you w
I had him way back in '03/'04. Cool dude. Just do your work and practice, practice your Spanish! I know he picks on people sometimes but he' s just trying to teach.
I loved Mr Valinhas! He was the best I wish I had teachers as good as him now that Im in college
Honestly a caring and good teacher. You need to work hard in order to understand languages, and people fail to understand that sometimes. He was one of my favorite teachers cuz he was good at teaching
I had him for 3rd yr. spanish. Liked him a lot! Very good teacher and cares about his students. 10x better than Twiehaus. I actually learned a lot from him!
He's probably one of the most dedicated teachers. His classes show that he puts lots of effort and really does want us to learn, unlike Twiehaus. Cool accent :D
I had him last year and he just makes things way more difficult than they have to be.
In his third year spanish class, he taught us the same things we had already learned in first year added with a lot of fluff.
Señor Valinhas es un mastro muy buena honda, truelly cares about his students, has ur back, i liked his class during period 2 1st sems i got an A then 2nd a c.
i had him for spanish 1 NS (per.2)... everyone says he's hard ..but as long as u do the work , pay some attention.. u will pass his test without study
i like his voice, and i think he is a very nice teacher if you get to know him.
i cant help laughing at the little gulping noise he always makes!!! LOL! and the way he says bunch... BONCH ... yea but hes cool :)
He gives us too much work..and i dont like the whole notebook thing..
