Constantly messing up in our class, we need to correct her. Doesn't allow any form of food or drink in her class (not even water). Goes by the book, gets mad when you go ahead. Teaches well but bprint and long. You can easily get a better understanding in two minutes of your own time than two hours of her.
Tip- Always do the homework in class, even if she yells at you.. Its worth it
Despite being bipolar and very strict, she did explain the material very well, and I feel like I learned a good chunk of precalculus, and definitely feel like I am prepared for next year of IB math
She is the BEST math teacher I've ever had. Unlike many of my previous math teachers she actually taught. While strict she only yells when absolutely necessary. She's super willing to answer questions and help you whenever you need it. She also gives an optional at the end of each six weeks so you can retake a test that you bombed. Its saved my grade several times.
Good at teaching, but not so much student relations. As stated, definitely want to stay on her good side!
She's a good teacher, she makes sure everyone does the exercises and makes sure everyone understands the concepts before moving on which helps. However, she has her moods where she can be very rude
I never had a problem with her. I liked her. But don't talk while she's talking or you might lose your head. Not kidding. Kinda strict but kinda a boring class so be careful kids! Very helpful though.
It is a very boring class but you walk out with knowledge. Her class is very easy as long as you go home and relearn the info because you almost fell asleep in class. So other than that, she is good.
IB: She wasn't an exciting teacher, but she... taught. You can pretty much learn everything straight from the book. A friend and I used to play "see if I can stay awake the whole block," just to give you an idea of what the class is like (and neither of us ever won... no lie). We were consistently in the top 5 in the class, though, because we did the homework and showed up for class.
A lot of people in my class didn't like her, but I never had a problem with her. You have to actually try to learn, and she can be mean, but only if you deserve it.
i agree that linder is extremely BY THE BOOK. otherwise, she is a nice teacher.
uhh no. She had her VERY cool moments but she's very BY THE BOOK. Dont take her your senior year, trust me.
if you are actually trying to learn, you'll have no problem. if you have an attitude, look out. very strict on silly rules, like getting a drink. condescending.
Mrs Linder you're an awesome teacher. Linguini rulez!!
Always willing to stay for just about any amount of time to help you.
