Most find him boring but I didn't. The open note quizzes are pretty easy especially since he often prints out his notes for you. I didn't take notes in class and I seldom needed them in the quizzes

Mr. Castonguay is a very nice teacher, but he doesn't teach very well. We have to take notes all the time, but the notes don't help us learn the material. With the notes, I still get C's on some of my open note quizzes.

clear easy notes are provided and tests and quizzes are easy. especially because quizzes are open note. But all we do is sit in class and copy notes. Since the lights are always off i always want to fall asleep in this class

A good teacher in that he knows what he's talking about. However, in class, all you do is take notes and watch video clips. As class isn't very interactive or demanding, the information doesn't stick very well. All Honors 9 quizzes are open-note.

Sure, he taught a great deal to us, and seemed to know it, but it definitely did not stick. He focused too much on tangents rather than what we needed to know.
