Mr. Douglas taught us a lot of critical thinking skills that helped me understand a little bit more about different cultures and religions. The two classes I took with him in 11th/12th grade helped me understand people I met later in life who came from completely different backgrounds. Don't expect simple tests and only learning dates/places/events. To current sudents, I recommed that you take his classes. He's not easy, but you will develop as a person and learn a lot.

I'm 37 years old. His instruction got me through many college tests and papers. He set me on courses of knowledge that I'm still following to this day. One of my best teachers.

His class is hard, but I learned so much from him. I think Mr. Douglas may have taught me everything I learned in school that has nothing to do with school.
