- I had Mr. Groven for seventh grade english and he is still one of my favorite teachers. He makes learning fun and lets students work at their own pace. He jokes around with students and gives the room a relaxed feeling which is much better for learning. He makes students think for themselves and he says things so bluntly you laugh while learning. he's still my favorite teacher and I can't wait to tell him I'm going into English honors because of what he taught me.

Groven is entertaining and engaging. He really connects with his students, and his classes are always full of stimulating conversation. I hope he's not moving to the high school, because he's pretty much the only thing the middle school has going for it.(permalink) (report)
