Charlotte Kirkpatrick's husband is unaware that his students are taking the AP Biology test. How to best answer free response questions was never discussed in class, and the number of times the AP test can was mentioned can be counted as a total of 7 times in the entire school year. However, I never fail to be productive during his lectures, as I do other homework or catch up on lost sleep. If you are into self teaching yourself how to pass the AP test, I 10/10 would recommend.
Too much busy work. Too many corny jokes that aren't funny. He needs new material, that prepares us for AP test.
class is based off of busy work and videos and lectures are pretty much worthless. instructor disregards the fact that we have to take an AP test at the end of the year because we will definitely not be covering all of the subject matter in time. not sure if a lesson plan really exists for the class, crams way too much information in one unit and then it takes over a month to complete it
Mr. Kirkpatrick is a good teacher and he knows his stuff. But he gives wayyyy too much homework for an elective class. I don't think he understands that there are some kids taking anatomy only to fufull their 3rd science spot. Not all are there to work in the medical field! His lectures are ok, but he needs to be a lot more chill with homework
a lot of what he assigns is busy work that doesn't actually help you understand the material. his lectures are pretty bland and generally sleep-inducing. he's understanding about students' circumstances though and tries to accommodate to the best of his ability
Easy class but he really needs to stop giving out busy work. His lectures tend to sidetrack and he has an unusual affection for the plant unit. Not one of my favorite teachers but still capable!
Great mix of lectures, vids, labs, etc. Enthusiastic and cares about his students, which is nice for a change. Lots of opportunities to bring your grade up; you can get an A and learn A LOT
great teacher....really takes interest in his students....LOVED him
Very very nice guy and really tries hard to make sure everybody does well in his class. If you have him, you'll definitely enjoy his class :) I sure did!
he is the ideal teacher: knows his stuff, very active in his lectures, adds some anecdotes here and there, and cares about his students
gives too much work..thinks bio is the only class we're takin ...stressful
He spends a bit too much time discussing his idealistic class rather than going over some of the topics at hand. Nice and helpful, but a tad preachy.
He's an okay teacher but he tries to force his beliefs on others. He kinda thinks that it is his job to mold young minds.
Makes you take WAAAAAY too many notes. It got too boring cause everyday it was sit down, look at the overhead, take notes, rinse, lather, repeat. Nice guy tho.
waS AN excellent anatomy teacher, learned a great deal from him and anatomy/physiology class
He is one of the coolest teachers ever! (also one of the most boring, but anyhoo..)
makes thing so clear, even though it is pretty boring. but somehow i learned in his class.
WOW he makes it sound so easy, wait a mintue it is easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best hon bio teacher....makes a hard class not so hard....good at explaining
nice, but too nerdy. gets annoying by the ned of the year
teacher i listen to and clearly pay atttention and understand
good at bio.. not as good at chem... i learned sum really useless stuff in there
I think he's the only Bio teacher that Bio students actually listen to
reasonable, reliable, and interesting. he explains everything so well.
