She's a great teacher. All these reviews about her being strict and whatever just make me laugh. It's gym, people! Turn up on time, wearing your gym clothes, do what she asks you to do with a good attitude, and you'll never have a problem with her. Literally do those three things and she'll do her part too. She jokes around with us, makes the sport enjoyable, and I always see her saying hi to her students in the hallways. She has a wicked strong Boston accent too! It's really fun to listen to.

Ms. Bergin can be very nice... if you're one of her favorites. She knows mostly what she's talking about but is super condescending and very harsh.

Even though I disliked the forced social participation exercises (finding + talking with new partners), I think it was very valuable.

I guess she can be nice if you get along with her, but is waay too strict and serious for a gym teacher. Gym class is supposed to be a way to have fun with friends, but she only cares about winning (when her class had to go against another in a game). One quarter, I went to every class and tried, but I wasn't very good because I didn't really know how to work the fencing sword and then of course, she gives me a B.

It's gym, take a breather. She treats gym as if it was an academic class. Sure, it's important to her, but for all of us Lexingtonians who just need a break from all the stress we get from our actual academics, she is no help at all.

She's an ok coach, but she has no loss for enthusiasm. In gym class, she favors the athletes, but she respects the non-athletes.

This woman obviously didn't make it into the Army or something so she became a gym teacher instead so that she could boss people around and have the authority to be MEAN. What is her problem. She is nasty to kids!!!!!!!!!
