I had Mrs. Roll as an English teacher during my freshman year of high school which was 2000 to 2001. She was a bit strict at times and definitely challenged us to work hard, but my friends and I loved having her as a teacher (and a mentor). Looking back, we especially appreciated that she was a good mentor, or in other words a teacher about education that includes more than school, grammar and literature - life as well. She's great! :)
One of the best teachers, without whom I wouldn't have made it through Elgin High School. She taught me to work hard, not only toward my studies, but also my goals and career. She taught me to be nice, treating others with respects. The list goes on (Thanks, Mrs Roll for your patience, helps and extra supports).
I would have not graduated High School without her because my senior year I was pregnant and I did not have any family and a few friends. She encouraged me to come to class and always treated me nice. I now am a college graduate and have a good life. :)
great teacher always had an interesting and insightful day in her class
Mrs. Roll taught me one good lesson. Sit down, shut up, and do your homework. Follow these steps and you'll do alright.
she pritty kool and is always a intersting day in her class
Wonderful lady who will not coddle people who are either jerks or utterly incompetent.
