Had clear favorites in class. Everyone else fell by the wayside. I let her scare me away from AP English. Her class felt like a popularity contest overlaid with a respectable amount of hard work.
I just graduated from college, and I still consider Mrs. Scanlan to be one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. She is fabulous and her class was one of the few in HS I enjoyed.
easily one of the smartest women that i have ever known. wonderful sense of humor, and she knew what she was talking about and was passionate about it.
Even after having graduated and had great professors at college, she will always be my favorite teacher. She was interesting and I learned so much in her class.
I thought she would be the teacher I would like the least, and she ended up being the one I admired most. She taught me more than how to read a book.
Hard teacher, but very good. She pushes you to work hard, and makes you think outside the box.
Our class discussions, while not always relevant, are both intellectually stimulating and interesting.
I think this is one of those teachers you either love or hate. I loved her. She was very nice. Very different which made the class more fun and interesting.
takes a while to get used to but she's a very nice, fascinating woman
