- Teaches, sort of. Mostly distracted by hanging out with wrestlers or fawning over her favorites. Is fake-nice. However, class is painfully easy to pass, even if she has decided she doesn't like you and gives you the stinkeye all the time.

- Class of 98. I failed her French class and I still say she is one of the best teachers at RHS. The only thing she is guilty of if is caring about her students on a personal level.

i think mrs batkins was a great teacher, in fact she was my favorite teacher out of all the teachers i've had at rhs. & i think everyone should leave her alone, cause everyone makes mistakes :)(permalink) (report)

Janelle Batkins is the most amazing French teacher ever. Shes a wonderful person. She turned a class full of kids who pretty much hated each other, into a class where we were all very good friends. So what if she has *** with a completely willing student? Honestly, the only thing she did wrong was commit adultry. I have to say the student in question was too dumb to even be able to take a french class, yet he was obviously so attracted to her, he was her aid. She has always seemed like a very professional person and I know people who have said they would not have graduated w/out her. Hearing these charges against her are almost unbelievable.(permalink) (report)

I was her student aide as a senior. Trust me, nothing like this went on. Girls always hated her and assumed things like this (typical high school jealousy). Not saying it didn't happen, just that people assumed it did with me too, and it wasn't like that at all.(permalink) (report)
