She is so rude and impertinent. When i approached her for help she was rude, unclear and awful. I went from being a well rounded student to almost failing her class. Her teaching strategy is bad, she CANNOT teach. She does not actually teach how to do math problems and when you say that you don't understand whats shes "teaching" she will claim that since you're in high school, you should know the information. BEWARE!!!!! i hope that you can switch out.

Janet Brown is easily the worst teacher out of any subject i have ever had in my life. I currently have ever as my 9th grade Honors Geometry teacher. I went from getting all 100's or more in every quarter last year in Algebra, to getting B's and C's on tests this year in Geometry. Mrs. Brown is unclear, not knowledgeable, confused, rude, vague, and overall a horrible teacher to have for any math class whatsoever. On top of that all, this woman has an actual mental illness(no joke, you'll see).

Mrs. Brown is probably the best teacher I've ever had. She was always straight to the point and able to explain everything clearly. I was in her honors class and I never felt like she was babying us or making things too easy. Difficulty was perfect.

She is not a bad teacher, but she's not very approachable, so it's hard to ask for help. She has an odd personality. I did learn, but I was pretty much miserable.

Excellent teacher and very willing to help afterschool. As long as you pay attention and try a little she will not let you fail.
