I had Ms. Whiting for Philosophy- she made the class fun and interesting. We were allowed to eat in class and relaxed into a free form type of mini-society. If she teaches this class- take it. She's a smart woman and she cares about her students. Don't let her frustration fool you.
Ms. Whiting was....well, those of us who had her know what she was. I graduated BHS in 1997 and she still stands out in my mind as one of the worst teachers I had. She always had a chip on her shoulder and seemed to enjoy showing us how she was so much "smarter" then us rather than actually trying to teach. I think that she had been a teacher for far to long.....she didn't seem to enjoy herself at all and all of my classmates felt the same way about her classes.
