One of my favorite teachers of all time. I enjoyed chatting after class about liberalism. He always made class so much fun and engaging.
Yeah his stories are cool and he's extremely smart. But he didn't really seem care whether we were prepared for the AP exam or not. Teach the material more, please.
Really cool. I love hearing his stories. He teaches you to think critically about history, not just memorize. Though he hardly assigns homework, you gain a lot from his class.
One of my favorite teachers ever, but that might be because I'm interested in what he's interested in. Cool guy.
I had mr S in 1970; he was a very enjoyable teacher and challenged his student's with view points that made you pause and gather your thoughts. He turned me into a news junky.
I'm a National Merit Scholar and was accepted to MIT. I have had many good teachers but I would say Jay Seidenstein is the best teacher I've had.
I'm 53 now, and I had Seidenstein when I was 16. He remains the single most memorable teacher I've ever had. He didn't teach met WHAT to think; he taught me HOW to think.
Seidenstein's pretty cool. He is very clear about what will be graded and asks for people's preferences as to what should recieve the most weight. Awesome guy.
Really boring and hard to listen too as he only lectures his students and uses no other means to convey his subject material
His grading system is unclear and very inconsistant.
Seidenstein is awesome. He's the best. He always questions authority
Good, fun class atmosphere, but a little vague with grading
One of the coolest teachers there. I graduated before the 60s class tho :(
Fun class, good discussions, super easy class, I LOVE 60s!!
He seems pretty cool, but I feel kinda out of place in his class too!
He had his favorites....I felt out of place in his class!!!!!
Impressive and memorable teacher - sparked my interest in history.
The 60's is an excellent class. I highly reccomend it.
