I'm now an educator and an education policy researcher, and today when we reflected on which school administrators made the biggest impact on me as a student - Jay Tyree was the one who kept coming to mind. He always seemed to treat us like adults - but he knew that we also needed big-brotherly advice and direction. He constantly reminded me that adults are real people. If you lost track of the fact that administrators and teachers have feelings just like students, he would remind you. Great.
Tyree was one of the few principals we had who did no possess a sense of arrogance. He understood how to deal with high school students. He is also a great person.
this guy is awesome he is caring and funny u can't help but love this guy his speaking just lifts your morale and u know he is there for u
i cant believe i got this dude as a principle my senior year...hes always got my back, tyree is the man
Mr. Tyree really gets to know his students and is always helpful if you need ANYTHING. He's a great principal to have at HHS.
This man changed my life when he was the AD at Stow High School. I have never known another individual who deserved so much respect and admiration from students
GREAT principal-- he's got so much class and is an all-around great guy.
Troublemakers love him because he lets them off easy. But who could forget when he held the NO SCHOOL TODAY sign up the day of the water main break.
Amazing man! Not so amazing at his job, but I've been in his office once or twice and he's helped me out!! Go mr T!
