Smith has definitely grown on me. I went into that class as an okay writer and came out as a great one. Be prepared for inclass essays! Also she is a little weird at first but gets more tolerable as the year goes on. I feel like she plays mind games with people though...she's an odd one! To sum this up: I like her as a person but not so much as a teacher.

It is nearly impossible to get an A first semester, but if you like English then you'll love the class.

One of my favorite English teachers ever! I learned how to write well from her and I was so prepared for the AP exam. She is strict and so quirky, but you grow to love her. You even grow to love her in-class essays! If you like English, you'll love her. If you don't like English, you may learn to enjoy it or at least get better at it by taking her class!

You'll like her more after you're out of her class. She taught me how to write properly, though her grading is harsh.

She expects a lot from you and makes you want to deliver. While her criticism can be harsh, it is meant to help you improve.

i love mrs. smith. She's such a nice lady. All you people who don't like her maybe shouldn't have taken AP in the first place cuz you're obviously not up on that level

Mrs. Smith is a great teacher, and is also remarkably funny. Anytime you need help, she takes the time to explain through things.
