Mr. Brown's classes are hard but not because he's a bad teacher. He's a great teacher! It's just that the material is hard. I had him for algebra 2 this year and he did a great job on explaining lessons to the class and helping us all understand. I ended up getting a tutor about halfway through the year for extra help tho
I graduated 11 years ago and still have vivid nightmares of Brown's FST class at least once a month.
A tough teacher who does not connect at all with his students, but outside of class is a good guy and a great member of the community. He knows his subjects, he just can't seem to foster any type of actual connection with his students and will make you feel quite dumb if you even raise your hand to ask a question. I truly don't think this is intentional, it's just a lack of soft social skills in the classroom.
He's pretty passionate about math and is a little bit scary with that mustache of his. He teaches pretty well, but is a little boring at time. He has his quirks (correctomundo, shade the c**p out of it, kicks and giggles, just to name a few), but he makes sure to write everything you need to know from the section down. All in all, he's a decent teacher.
This guy is the worst teacher I've ever had. He teaches to the blackboard. He doesn't interact with the students. He leaves immediately after school and is NEVER around to help students. He is boring and can't teach AT ALL.
He's cute ;) I like watching him flex while he writes on the board. His mustache is so full and lengthy and well groomed :)
I liked his class. He got right to the point and helped me to understand the topics well. He also put up everything you are going to learn that day up on the board and if you copy it then you are set for quizzes.
He was ok, but had some really obnoxious habits. He helped me understand certain things and was literally a chicken
Great teacher. Walks in every day and does his job well. May be tough, but you learn math. One of the better teachers in the school.
i liked the board notes! quizes were kind of hard but really prepared me for the tests
He's a really great teacher if you're ready to work. Do the homework on time and pay attention in class and you'll never fail. Class gets fun when everyone starts talking. The teacher can't make a cla
Outside of class Brown is one of the funniest and most personable people I've ever met. Unfortunately his demeanor in class is very bland. He not very affective at conveying information.
MR BROWN! sometimes i think he only wanted the really smart people to know what was going on.
Mr. Brown's teaching style is direct and straight-forward. He is enthralling, with a voice that rises and falls during class as much as a sine wave. If you think he is too hard, you're weak and lazy
Well, he's tough for sure. Mr. Brown is not the kind of teacher who will give you an A for nothing, and he only gives them when you deserve it. Get over it you whiners, an A isn't supposed to be easy.
I had Mr. Brown 10+ years ago at HHS . . . . to this day I still believe he could actually TEACH the class. I had a tutor because he did not teach. He was more concerned about his muscles.
Doesn't know anybody's name in class. Can't teach. Its a teach yourself class
Mr. Brown is a tough teacher, but he gets the job done. The people failing his class are the ones who simply can't pay attention. He is a terrific glimpse at what college is going to be like, so if you think he is a bit impersonal and monotone, get used to it cuz you are going to have 4 yrs of teachers like that in college. John Smith
Easy Class, If not doing homework, then probly falling asleep
Mr. Brown is one tough cookie. I had him for both AA and FST. But he truly helped me prepare for college, and he was a very good lecturer. Tells you straight up how its gonna be.
Not hard if you're good at math, but rude and boring most of the time. If you get him, get a tutor because if u ask him questions he will embarass you.
I like Mr. Brown. I took Adv. Alg. last year and have him this year. I think he's a great teacher for taking a class for the second time. He's very strict and gets straight to business but I think that's a great thing. He actually does know everyone's nam
Easy teacher. Dont know how people can dislike him when he gives you all of the notes for class. Nice guy.
Mr. Brown is a good teacher, and is a very good look into what college professors will be like. Impersonable, yes, but still a great teacher willing to help.
All i can say is, if that man says niner ONE MORE TIME... i just might freak out.
I don't see why so many people dislike Mr. B. He is a very hard-working, diligent teacher who teaches the material WELL, reviews it, and challenges you.
Doesn't bother me that much. Hes just very unpersonable and still doesnt know our names in the last two weeks of school! Now turn in your quizeroo!
He doesn't care what you do in his class, so being as I had him first period I basically caught up on sleep and homework.
The worst math teacher ever, i would rather be anywhere else in the world as long as its not in his class
What ever floats your boat, as he flexes while writing on the board.
Easy class, and he doesnt care what you do while he is talking, so its a good chance to sleep or do homework.
Explains well. He also uses the word 'oodles'. He sticks to a calendar, so we actually get things done. I like how no one answers his questions.
Barely learned anything from his class, pretty cool in person, but the class is extremely hard.
