He eats all class with his mouth open and it ends up hitting the students. He sweats so much that it goes all the way down his arms. He's an ok guy but a bad teacher. He definitely chooses favorites.

Hagar was one of the worst teachers i have ever had. If you see his name on your schedule then drop the class and spare yourself he is terrible. He sweats way too much and it extremely rude. He is stubborn and plays favorites. STAY AWAY FROM JEFF HAGAR.

Mr. Hagar is a really sweet person and a talented musician. He is very funny and relaxed in class and helps you one on one to improve your writing skills. Homework is completely manageable and the feedback on essays is really insightful.

Had him twice throughout my years at Santa Cruz High. During class he's all over the place. But if you talk to him one on one he is phenomenally more helpful and knowledgeable about literature and writing.
