Best teacher EVER! He went to karate with Chuck Norris.
Mr. Souther is a wonderful teacher. He is very knowledgeable about Latin, teaches well, and is always willing to help out his students!
Mr. Souther is a great teacher. He has amazing experiences and stories that he shares with his students. He is also very intelligent and pushes students to think for themselves. Although he can get a bit off topic, especially during election years, he is a brilliant Latin teacher. He is very clear with what he expects from students and his classroom provides a lot of structure. Within that structure there is room to discuss current events. Students learn everything they need to move on in Latin.
he is very helpful and gives you great advice. He also has great stories and I can tell he loves his job and his students.
By far the best teacher I have ever had. He constantly goes off on fun story-telling tangents, yet we always get our work done. He is great with late work and extra credit, and I even have his trading
He is such a great person who loves the subject he teaches. It is a nice change to have a teacher like that. He is wonderful!
Wonderful teacher. Gets slightly annoying in later classes but honestly the most fun language class you will take ever. And latin helps you pass English vocab tests you don't study for!
Awesome for first year latin, gets a bit less cool in more advanced classes.
He is the coolest teacher you will ever meet. Enough said.
best latin teacher in santa barbara/goleta. amazingly smart and has a bunch of interesting stories. great at telling greek mytholgy stories, and just really good person in general.
Very kind and interesting. He was friends with Marlon Brando and writes notes to himself in Ancient Greek...'nough said.
Has lots of fun stories to listen to, from his journey to Tahiti to how he used to be a lifegaurd. The best/coolest/nicest/most understanding teacher at DP.
Most amazing teacher I've ever had. AP Latin is a struggle, but he makes it worthwhile. TAKE HIM, even if latin isn't #1 on your priorities. He's worth it.
