I took Mr. Minahans honors class and while I improved my writing, I hated him as a teacher. He gets upset very quickly, and acts like an hormonal teenager. A grown man shouldn't be breaking rulers because he's upset and can't control his temper.

Literally every single word that comes out of his mouth is complete BS. He's unfair when it comes to most things (especially grading), and I'd rather retake every single year of high school than take another class of his. It's safe to say that he's my least favorite teacher in the entire school.

Mr. Minahan taught me to write. Prior to taking his English class, I didn't know the between 'it's' or 'its'. He taught me all aspects of writing and reading comprehension. It's teachers like him, who make a difference. His class is difficult, but with hard work, studying, and a passion for leaning; you will pass. He appreciates a good piece of writing, and does an excellent job giving feedback. Learn from his class, and you too will be able to write and read fluently.

The first couple weeks in his class were wicked fun and I thought it was going to be one of my favorite classes. Well, I was wrong. While I learned a lot about writing and my writing improved, he is very unprofessional and his class is boring. He analyzes every book you read to the death, his test questions are unfair, and he is extremely opinionated and refuses to see anyone else's point of view.
