Had him in 81 and 82 for English and Sociology elective. Brilliant man, Mr. Sackett; he is one who made me realize my full potential. He would get mad when I fooled around and said "JP, use the brain God gave you". Extremely knowledgeable and caring man. He changed my academic life
I had Mr. Sackett in hmmm lets see, 1994-95 for mystery super natural sci fi class...dont know if they have that anymore, but best class I ever took including undergrad/grad school..
HE is EXTREMELY smart but ll you do is watch movies in that class. He teaches like a college course and you never do group work. He is so smart but doesnt explain that well.
sackett is a great teacher and anyone who hasnt had him or wont (retiring this year)has truly suffered a great loss...he is one of kind..puts other teachers to shame
SACKETT IS AWESOME....he is genius...cuis regio erius religio
Sackett was an amazing history teacher, I don't know how you can say he didn't teach, I got a 5 on the test, he was an amazing teacher. I wish him luck
sackett is a genius and a legend...but i barely learn a thing
hes a cool man, but very intimidating... doesnt teach as much as just speak
i respect his genuis-ness & all, but he doesnt really teach as much as display his personal knowledge
Mr. Sackett is the reason I took history in college and I recently graduated with a degree in history and was inducted in to the History honor society
Besides being hard to understand because he stops to drink water every 2 seconds he is amazing-he wont know ur name but can tell u everything about history!
The Man. The Myth. The Legend. Funny Cide would be proud. "Blood of the Impaler" forver! Check it out. Knows his stuff and has that Burton-esque voice too.
he knows the entire history of the world by heart, including dates. he is a genius. the problem is he doesn't teach it very well
He is brilliant. No one talks in his class because everyone respects how incredibly smart he is.
