As a previous student of Jennifer Bravo for two years, I'd have to say she's one of the most dedicated teachers here at Diamond High School. Though she has a small temperment, her knowledge of chemistry is absurdly well ridden. Don't get on her bad side; as long as you study for her tests, you'll pass (A/B). I'm happy to say that she sparked my interest as a biology major/chem major. Stanley peng used to be a good student here at Diamond Bar High school but fell short due to his ignorance.
helpful when you go ask her questions. Tests are okay, there's concepts we didn't learn but she curves the test a little. Only complaint is the amount of cheating going on in that class. When students go on their phones, look at the floor, or leave in the middle of the test means theyre most likely using extra resources during the test. Not fair for those who actually study and work hard for their grade, especially since the test curve based on everyones grades, including those without integrity
Although she seems intimidating, don't be afraid to ask her questions! She's very helpful and nice. Her lectures are very informative; however, she often gives us POGILS instead of lecturing :( Also, her tests aren't bad, but there's sometimes conceptual questions that we haven't gone over that aren't in the book either. She will usually end up curving one or two points on the exam, which doesn't help much. Wish she curved based on the class average rather than what the highest score is.
Ms.Bravo is an INCREDIBLY knowledgeable teacher and she really knows what she is talking about. Her lectures are very informative although it can sometimes be hard to follow along with the class when she uses worksheets instead of lectures. Make sure to ask her questions if you need help! She may seem a bit intimidating but she will be happy to help. Bravo really is a very sweet teacher and I would recommend her class.
She is a great teacher and I love her class so much.
She jump-started the surrounding tutoring centers. But at least she is very in touch with her emotions during class.
best teacher ever
a lot of people dont like her because shes moody or something but shes honestly not that bad. shes the best ap chemistry teacher at diamond bar high school because shes concise and to the point unlike other teachers who constantly go off topic. mmany people find her boring but in general chemistry isnt fun so... but she knows her stuff 100% and is extremely helpful but she may not show many emotions
I am now a college student currently taking Chemistry courses, I feel Mrs. Bravo effectively prepared me for the rigores of college. I was pretty incompetent in her course and wish I took it more seriously, Mrs. Bravo is a very knowledgable instructor and will be patient with you if you are motivated to learn.

Ok, she's pretty sensitive but part of it isn't unfounded; she just wants to teach and people keep talking when she asks them to stop. She's not a bad teacher. I think she genuinely wants to teach but is unable to deal with the frustrations.
Mrs. Bravo is an incredible teacher. Science is not my best subject but I have a solid "A" because she explains how to do every calculation and offers extra help during class. She encourages us to ask for help whenever we need it. I really like her!!
I have Mr. Bravo as my AP Chem teacher and I have to admit that she is one of the moodiest teachers I have ever met. However, she is a great teacher overall. Her teaching method is concise and on the point. She also uses the restroom 3 times a period
She knows her stuff but she can't teach it. Very emotional and will often break down after lectures. Has a very monotone voice that makes you fall asleep in minutes. very sensitive to whispering. Easy worksheets hard test, but test online
Mrs. Bravo has a very concise and to the point teaching style. I find her to be very efficient. If you listen, her class is a breeze. She is always willing to give help when needed so dont be afraid to ask. She also gives good examples when teaching.
I know a number of students who don't like her teaching style, but just know that she's very concise, very clear in her teaching. I wasn't the best student, but she always made sure everyone knew what she was talking about. Sure, she has her mood swings, but she's always as nice as she can be when you need help and is very understanding. For her tests, just review the books problems she assigns and you're set. Could probably prepare you better for the AP test, though.
Mrs. Bravo is a very incompetent teacher. She has mood swings everyday, often breaking down into tears because she feels as though her students are not listening or caring. She gets extremely moody over people whispering during her lectures. Her tests and homework vary from being easy to hard. She is extremely sensitive to the word "hell" and if a student is caught using it in her classroom, they will be severly punished. She is always having a bad day and never makes a real effort to teach. GL!
Very moody and hard to please. She grades really hard but it is possible to pass. Even the kids on her "Good" side have trouble.
i have her for ap chem right now and she is so boring. her voice stays the same tone throughout the lecture and shes pretty sensitive. she almost cried when she found out we werent reading the textbook. her tests are okay. but her classes are wayy too boring to pay attention in
Mrs. Bravo is a very good chem. teacher and knows how to explain hard problems or difficult concepts. She makes an effort to teach all the material in a clear and accurate way. The only problem is she
bravo isn't a bad person; she just can't teach: takes everything personally, on leave all the time, so boring to listen to. she's really nice one-on-one, though, and her chem honors class is easy.
.. deducts points on blab for no reason.., tests are easy, BUT she can't teach... In addition, she has a emotionless monotone that makes you want to sleep and she complains alot......................
emotionless monotone. i cant stay awake long enuf to learn
she basically rephrases things from the book. she never passes back grades and complains SOO much.
shes a bit monotone, but pretty nice; teaching-wise shes a bit unclear, but if you ask her a specific question, she answers it throughly; easy teacher: easy tests, extra credit
all of you guys are a little too harsh. mrs. bravo is a really kind and excellent caring teacher. her class was fun and easy too
As a former student of Ms. Bravo,I can say that she's really good. It's not difficult to get an A in her class if you pay attention to her lecture.
Mrs bravo you were the best teacher my junior year i actually learned something and remeber it thanks
