The passing of Mr. Kraut is a true travesty due to how special of a person he was. Mr. Kraut had the ability to make anyone feel as if he/ she was the most special person worthy of his time. Despite how terrible you were at whatever you were lucky enough to have him teach you, whether it be English or track, he would spend countless hours molding you into someone who deserved his time and devotion. The word love is truly illustrated in Mr. Kraut's relationship to the school and with his students
Mr. Kruathamer is a great English teacher. He's funny and doesn't take everything seriously which is refreshing to the class. Nonetheless, it's important to sacrifice sophisticated language and prose for simplicity and clarity when writing his essays. Even if you don't do as well as you'd hoped on an essay, you can meet with him at any time to revise it for a higher grade. He's very helpful and clear when explaining the themes of the pieces of literature that you read. Would highly recommend.
He is very hard and sometimes very unclear.
I used to hate English and writing, but Mr Kraut's class is so enjoyable. He has helped me improve my writing radically. The books that he has us read are all worth the time (except Great Expectations). He is somewhat of a harsh grader, but you can rewrite his essays and get a better grade. He is really nice and an great teacher and he knows an amaizing amount about every book we read. He is also hilarious.
I have to say this was probably my hardest class. He is a very tough grader on papers and essays though apart from the difficulty he's a great teacher. He is always at lunch to help you rewrite a paper or answer questions. He also explains concepts from books well most of the time. On another note, he's a very funny guy, and laughs at jokes from the books.
Mr krauthamer was my teacher more than 20 years ago. The authors he introduced us to-- S.J. Perelman, Firesign theater et al shaped me in ways I couldn't have imagined. You may not realize it at the time but he will be one of the best, most generous teachers you will ever have.
good teacher, great track coach, greater human being :)

Coolest. Teacher. Ever. Hard grader, but a great teacher.
Kraut is the best teahcer at the school. He is extremely helpful if you are willing to put in the work.
Great teacher. One of the smartest, not to mention strongest men i know. He knows his material well but will make you work your hand to the bone.
Kraut - funniest/snidest/writing-improvingest/biggest asset to english department
He helped improve my writing and made me love English all over again. Although he isn't quite the easy grader, he makes every work we did enjoyable, and even helped our readings by making study guides along with the text. He's the one that started penan
