Going into my junior year, I was extremely excited for AP US History. I quickly realized that what was originally my favorite subject would soon be the low point of my day. Mrs. Hyndman's class is unnecessarily difficult. Her tests are INSANE and almost never about what you had just learned. I have taken MANY AP classes and hers was hands down the most difficult.
She is also very rude and unprofessional with her blatant expression of her political views. She's a republican. Enough said.
She is the best social studies teacher ever.I love her jokes!
SHES AMAZINGGG! her teaching style is a cool one and i loved coming to her class every day !!!!!!!!!
Don't be fooled by the stats. Her class is hard but she is hilarious. xD
i love ms hyndman! she talks about history like shes gossipping about people she knows. *most comical teacher* lol
I love Mrs. Hyndman. Her class is by far one of my favorites, even if I'm not doing well... which is my own fault because I rarely study.
Her classes are unnecessarily hard. I love challenging classes, but hers are only challenging because her tests and quizzes are ridiculus, in the dictionary-definition sense of the word.
I like her as a person but her class is ridiculous. I am tedious about my grades- I am a straight A student. I like hard classes IF I'm learning but I'm not. In one ear out the...
she's a good person, not so great teacher. she doesn't know much about psy. she needs to change her teaching style. don't take notes from the overhead, it's waste of pen and paper
Look if she can get me to get above a 3 on the AP history test then i think she must be pretty good at what she does...
MRS HYNDMAN IS THE COOLEST. CEPT HER QUIZES ARE ABSOLUTELY EVIL. BUT OVERALL A PRETTY NICE LADY.
is this woman a teaher. if i didn't read the book for her ap psyc. class i would not pass. her notes are hepless. she needs a new teaching style TODAY!!!
Very sweet woman. Genuinely tries and cares. Usually reasonable. If you try, so will she. I like her. <<Take your own initiative to learn. You'll do well.>>
Mrs. Hyndman, though tough, is quite decent at teaching the AP history class. Where tests are concerned, yes all answers are correct, but what did you expect?
Very nice lady, except does seem to want us to fail. She does try though, and you have to appreciate that. I just don't agree that making 50-70 is good.
Mrs. Hyndman goes to any length to help her students do well in her class. Read the book, and her class is great.
I love Mrs. Hyndman. She is an awesome teacher! She really cares about her students, too. I wish all the teachers were like her!
I like Mrs. Hyndman as a person, although our classroom could use improvements. Mrs. H. is usually quite reasonable. We must WORK TOGETHER to improve the class!
its not that her class is very hard, its that she finds joy in ppl failing her class which i think is ridiculous!
She simply should not be teaching the level she is responsible for. Her notes are unacceptable and without her book in front of her to she would be helpless...
Sweet sweet lady. My learning style just doesn't mesh with her teaching style... Not either of our faults... just unmeshable
You learn virtually nothing in this class, and it's a waste of time...
Whoever said "enough said" about her going from middle school to high school, I agree. Didn't we all go from middle school to high school. She is great!!!
Thinks that if only two people have an A she's teaching well. Never listens to questions or backs up her arguments.
Mrs. Hyndman is a great Teacher.Perhaps what you think is not her lacking knowledge but rather not telling you and answer that may be untrue,as other teachers.
Her knowledge seems limited and she teaches an AP class as if she's still teaching middle schoolers.
When the class average on tests continues to be failing and the highest grade on tests tend to be just over it (both for 2 years now), maybe something's wrong.
She used to be a middle school teacher. Now she's teaching AP. Enough said.
