Jerome Leonardi is quite possibly one of the worst teachers I've ever had. The rants are funny but then he compensates by cramming the rest of the class with barely discernible notes. Then, of course, you email him and ask him to clarify something, and he responds in all caps "NO" or something like that. Okay, whatever, you think, if he doesn't want to talk about it maybe it's not important. But then the next day you have a pop quiz on that. That's a Tuesday in his class. It's fun until it's not
Funniest teacher ive ever had. I love when we get off topic and he tells us all these hilarious stories from his past. Its the best when he makes fun of people for trying to hard or other stuff. As a person hes great, I wish I had him as an uncle so I would get to see him all the time. But his class is so hard. His reading quizzes are sometimes impossible. Even If you read everything there is still a good chance you will do very poorly. But all in all im glad I have him as my english teac
he's a great teacher. PERIOD.
Even though Mr. Leo can get off topic or be rigid about his grading, he is the best teacher I have ever had. He is caring, thoughtful, and energetic and can lighten your mood on even the toughest days. Had him sophmore year, and although I knew I could have gotten a higher GPA boost in another class, I took him for AP Lit senior year just because of how much I enjoyed his lectures. If you get to know Mr.Leo and his habits, you will both learn to master the class, and meet a great person as well
He gives random tests/quizes. He's funny though, so it's kinda worth it.
I am actually in his new Basic English Skills class and he is so helpful. I've been in extra help English classes since 5th grade and none have helped until I was in Mr. Leo's class. He is funny, kind
He's the man, nothing else needs to be said. His class can be difficult until you get used to it, he has a pretty unique teaching style. If you have him, be sure to ask about the frozen dog story.
he is a good teacherm but tests are on the most obscure facts. Very little on the tests actually is important in true understanding of the novel.
He's really nice, and goes to great lengths to get you to understand. Makes great jokes to lighten up the load. HE pushes me and my peers to make us get to where we want to be...even further then wher
He uses his class time and his clubs as a weapon against the administration, wasting both class and activity time. A good director though.
had acting workshop with leo, and it was so much fun. did the fall play too this year, and its so cool how he bothered to get to know all of us for who we are
Well its leo, is there really anything else that you can say?
He always makes fun of the dumb kids so dont say nothin stupid in his class or hes gonna rip on you all year.
it's fun to be in his acting class..he understands the students point of view
Leo's the best teacher I've ever had. You learn so much from him everyday, even if you're not in his classes. He does so much for anyone he can, it's awesome.
even if it's not always on-topic, you always learn things when you are in one of classes. he is very awesome.
Leo's awesome! I had an elective with him and worked on both plays this year and I had so much fun with him! I would love to be in one of his English classes.
Leo is an awesome person, mentor, and teacher. He truly believes in and strives to help his students succeed in english, drama, and life.
Expects too much, treats his sophomore english class like its a college. Hes nice but he makes our class really hard even thought its not honors.
Mr. Leo is a great guy..i was in the musical and i hear he is great in class too...thanks Leo.
Great guy...i had an elective class with him..he's so easy to talk to..but i've heard his AP class is so hard...fyi Language and Lit..for those seniors next yr
Greatest English teacher ive ever worked with. And, as head of the drama department, ive be able to learn about him closely. He is the greatet teacher i have kn
Mr Leonardi is a real nice guy but he makes his english class way too hard.
Leo is one of those rare teachers that respects you as a mature human being - and also one of those teachers that is willing to put himself on the line for you.
Without a doubt the greatest english influence I've ever had.
he treats students like poeple, and it raises our confidence and teaches us how to open up actually talk with others
